Why do people hate nickelback that much?

I've been wondering, why do people hate their songs that much? I don't think their music is autotuned as opposed to some other artists.. their songs are quite catchy.. Personally, I think their songs are better than most. So could you please enlighten me on this fellow myLotters..Thanks in advance

I like Nickelback and I am not sure as to why other people do not like them. I love their songs specially Far Away. It is really heart felt and somehow you can relate to them. Probably they are famous that is why some people do not like them.

Yeah me too :) I think nickelback is one of the best band over here.I really do not understand it too why people do not like them but my thought is. They turned their song into more commercial ones. But I love every album which is produced by them.

I don't own any CDs of Nickelback, but enjoy some of their songs I've heard on the radio. I'd prefer to burn, legal, CDs, to create my own favorites. Usually, there's not more than 5 Songs, per 10 to 18 song, CD, that I enjoy and can push the REPEAT button.

I really am not a big fan of nickelback but I have this one favorite from them, the song entitled 'photograph'. Also, my husband has that song in his playlist!

Yeah, I'm no big fan either but some people refer to nickelback as something disgusting. Like it's some kind of a disease you shouldn't be listening to. I also like most of their songs and the songs I don't like don't make me hate them enough to be disgusted. I'm just kinda wondering what the problem is?

I think that people hate Nickelback because it's trendy. I mean did you notice how to be cool and accepted you have to hate some stuff like Justin Bieber or Kesha and so on? To me it's seems the reason is that it's cool to hate.
