Oh my, I always have an adrenalin rush in the morning when I go to work. I would always rush once it’s already 8:30, so I won’t be late for my 9:00 work.
When I arrive the mall where our office is, I would a bit run ( it’s difficult to fully run in high heels) long into the farthest end of the building which always takes me more or less 3 minutes.
I must accept it has a healthy benefit that way, but it makes me catch an adrenalin rush always !
Gosh , how I lobbied that the employees’ entrance not at that part of the mall but the former halfway, but to no avail.

I do have the same issue every morning when I'm going for work. The bus would usually arrive at our home at seven to pick me up. I would set my alarm at six however, I'm really having a hard time waking up so I'm postponing it for a few minutes more. In the end I would manage to wake up at six and half so I got to rush even when taking a bath. Sometimes, I don't even have the time to lock the straps of my shoes. Good thing that my office clothes are ironed and ready and that made it a bit easier for me. Cheers!

I do set my alarm also and for every activity before finally going to catch a ride is budgeted. However, sometimes i skip praying for 15 minutes and continue sleeping for another 10 minutes and would just say a quick prayer when i woke up.
The rest of my ride will be dedicated to my morning prayer. That's what i call time management.

I never skip saying a prayer when i wake up in the morning. I feel unsafe knowing that i haven't prayed.

me and my husband are working in the same company. each morning, we are also like joining in a car race just to reach 8:00am or 8:15 (we are given grace period). with 2 babies at home, you can't really manage your time especially when our eldest cry to see us leave the house.
since we are both supervisors, we are not required to time in using our biometrics. attendance are based in our front gate security's records. so as long as we reach the front gate before 8:15am, we can already move normally when going in the office. Unlike the rank and files, they really need to rush to reach the biometrics, which is placed in our lobby, on time. :)
One time, it was already past 8 and we are still some 500meters away from the office. we saw 2 of our officemates in their car along the way. the three of us are racing in the road. I kept on telling my husband to slow down. he just kept on laughing. when we all reached the office with the three of us safe at 8:15, we were all laughing. i just thank God they are all good drivers who drive safely even when in rush. :)

Indeed when you have a family to attend to first, before going to work , would really always give you adrenalin rush in the morning.
Well, here in our office , officers are still made to register at our biometric. It's only our General Manager who is free from that.
Adrenalin rush - i guess every employee have that in the morning.

I am always one those rush person my D
Whenever I have an appointment, I don't prepare too early but only give myself 30 minutes.
But I can say that I am not a late comer as well.
I know my capacity and I am confident that I can make it on time...(I can fly)

Actually, it's the jeepney rides i took that delays me , thus makes me rush to reach the biometric machine.
Though, i always register at 8:50 and the like 5 or less minutes late will really make me late, specially that the biometric machine won't register my finger at once.

I live a few blocks from where I work. Although I stil drive, there were times that I did bike to work. I would always underestimate the time for me to bike the distance that I would also be rushing to work.
It's not that I get reprimanded, or docked hours when I'm late, but I just like to be ontime.

I do at times have this situation too. This is especially frequent when I am riding the MRT or caught in a traffic. I usually have a big time buffer going to work so that I am relaxed coming in to work. I do take time in walking to the office which I think is a good exercise for me. But there are times wherein there are a lot of hindrances going to work. Especially with the floods and rains nowadays. I have already established the most buzzer beating time that I should have already rode the MRT, so that I will not be late. I will feel a sudden surge of adrenaline rush whenever I am nearing that cutoff time, else I will be late. Good thing that all my adrenaline were not wasted as I haven't been late as of yet. But I did have 1 minute before time buzzer beating action before. It took out most of my energy for that day already!

It's so frustrating if one gets i minute late ! You would say to yourself " Had i run , i would have not been late".
Good if it's more than 10 minutes, because it's really late already and even if you have ran, you really won't make it anymore.
Keep it up my friend, your being not late to work.

Same thing as running on the stairs to t he 4th floor to avoid getting late and punch time card on time, then I just sit in the couch in the reception to catch my breath and rest for awhile.Go to my place and as if nothing happens lol.

I too, would feel like that, ardoy!
The moment i arrive at the office, i would open my small electric fan because the air conditioner isn't enough for the heat that comes in my rushing to register at our biometric machine.
I would really pant and rest a while too.

It's different in the evening bryanx, i take my time in going home. Though, i am also in a hurry to go home and be able to rest and watch TV.
But at least, that adrenalin rush in the morning indeed awakens me more ,for the works that the day have.

I'm recalling the same situation too when I was still working. Running to the bathroom immediately after rising from bed and often skipping breakfast just to be on time for the office. Though I am now free from this hassle but I missed this experience sometimes.

Sometimes though, we need to have some adrenalin rush to keep us feeling so alive. It livens and sharpens our reflexes as well as our brain. It makes us healthy i general.

So your boss always comes earlier than you do in the morning.
Indeed if that is the case, you will always have an adrenalin rush to beat her in going to the office in the morning.

I'm not always late, actually I'm always early. But I am always rushing. Maybe because our pantry is always being supplied with fresh bread and bagel lol! All of us covet those bagel and if you're a tad too late to come you'll have nothing lol! Also, to make it to my "race" I ditch my heels and wear my chucks. I just stow these away on my lowest drawer and just change into them once I'm already in the office.

Oh raine, i envy you for having free fresh bread and bagel at your office. I think if our office would have those also for free, no one will want to be late.
That's true, sometimes our heels is a hindrance for us to walk quickly. I think i have to do what you are doing.
But i do have a slipper in my work area, so that when it's rainy during dismissal, i could change my heels into them.
Sometimes, we have to thin of things that will make us comfortable in the office, since it's our second home.
