This morning, I was unable to wake up straight away even my mum was there waking me up. My eyes can't open even a bit. Or I would say that, I can open it, but open for a while, then I felt tired and closed my eyes right away. So I slept for another minute. And wake up for another second and slept for another minute again. And out of the sudden, my house went blackout! I was shocked! Because it means I can't have my warm water shower! That was a mess. And my mum keep asking me want her boil water and take bath upstairs? Or downstairs? I was thinking, and not answering her. She then keep repeat, repeat and repeat. My dad who was sleeping and listening what my mum asking, then he scold me for not answering. What on earth actually? Do I don't own the time to think and have an option? Giving me an option and wanted me to answer it straight away without thinking? It's impossible wasn't it? But still scold me? Right, I don't get what parents are thinking. Somehow, I don't think they do know my feeling anyway.

Well it is not nice to wake up to a scolding. It starts off your day negatively. However you also have to understand your parents as they must have got somewhat irritated by your lack of responsiveness. On the other hand they could have understood you might have been really tired and sleepy and given you some more time to wake up properly before managing to answer. Trying to understand one another is best.

When you become a parent, you will understand your parents how they have acted on certain things. Parents want to instill in their children a lot of things- discipline, responsibility, etc. Time is of the essence sometimes that is why your mum was asking you if you want to have a hot bath so she could prepare it for you.

Yes, there are times we are so tired... just could not wake up at all. Zero energy, it is like the gravity is pulling us back to the bed. Your mum is so nice, she take the initiative to boiled the water for you. You even have the choice whether to take bathe downstairs or upstairs. Mother's love is always great, right? Being scolded in the morning is really a bad start, it is like spoiling the day. However, a positive thinking will override all negative elements. All the best and stay happy!

Well, that's really obvious that your mom wants an answer from you. Or should I say, a little hush of " one moment please" would do. As usual, moms usually get into conclusions that something is wrong with their children and start to rants. Anyway, you should try to understand that your mom at times that she's so busy and wants things to be done as soon as possible. If you could do things right away then do it to avoid being scolded. Enjoy your day and try to do something that would make your mom happy.

Sometimes situations makes us feel that we're the ones who need sympathy and the parents are the bad one. I sometimes experience that from my parents and they\always make me feel like I have no right to decide or to think or whatever. They always make me feel like I can't have my own mind. I hate being scolded too and whenever my mom scolds me, I just try to think hard all of the things she did for me and she bought for me so I won't remain mad at me.

Have you told them about it? I mean about how feel? I am a mother and once my children told me about how they feel about something I would surely understand.

Sounds like you are not a morning person and do not wake up easily. When I am tired I have a hard time answering questions as well because I have to really sit and think about what it was that they asked me. It used to drive my husband nuts.
