Having least responses...

santos: i have been responding for many of your discussions. of course when a member starts 8 to 10 discussions per day -- i will select at random two or three and post response and then go to the next friend's discussions. that way i might have omitted a few of your discussions. also if the topic is controversial then you will get more responses. another problem is time zone difference -- when you start people from other parts of the world may be sleeping. however start interesting discussions and you will see more responses.you must post reply comments early and earn more. How do you manage to allot time for studies and also mylot? do not neglect your studies.

I guess it's not important whether we are writers in order to start responses. I looked at the discussions and responded to what I like whether they are my friends or not. Don't worry so much about having least responses. I even have discussions having only one response. What is important is that we enjoy doing mylot.

hi Rsantos this should bring some responses as people will notice this discussion,.I will tell you what I was told when I wrote adiscussion about the same complaint. she told me first do not do the best response too early as some will be turned off and not come back.Also you are fairly new so respond a lot to all of us and some will say hey this R Santos really does respond. I am going to respond to him or her right now.once you get a good list of friends they will respond to your discussions too.No you have not written trash discussions. you just need people to read your discussions is all.[

I dont think any discussion here are trash , not because you dont get the responds your looking for doesnt mean you are making trashy discussion . Most of us members are here to make money but we still have topics that interest us and with more to chose from the better , so if you are not getting as much respond to your discussion you can make it up by responding to others discussions. I dont start as much discussion as most people do so I appreciate every discussion someone make .

Hi Rsantos! I also tend to have few responses from the discussions I've started. There are some which has an acceptable number of responses but there are also those that have one or two or three only. HAHA! I guess that really depends on the topic of your discussion. Better make it as interesting as possible and something in general that a lot of our fellow mylotters can realte to. Happy mylotting and I hope you'll stay here for a while. Enjoy!

I have no idea why others did not participate on your topics and I can only speak for myself. I have all of the notifiers in my mail and might get to them eventually, though that might even be years from now I had an offline activity that kept me busy again this week and am way behind with notifiers from everyone because when I was here, there was something else which caught my attention. If only I had not been distracted as I have now lost posts and earnings because of that episode There will be times when your friends cannot relate toyour topics or they are busy offline. Take the good times along with the bad ones and just plod on

This may just be the time of year. Here in the USA many mylotters have returned to school and this limits the time they can alot to mylot.

Hello Rsantos, you should be greatful that you can have at least one response at your discussion. because a lot of people here who started in mylot didn't have any response at all in their topics. look at me, it took like responding and commenting until i reach 500 just to make a discussion that can be responded. always make topics but also COMMENT on the responses

If you have more friends then they get the notification of your discussion and they respond on it. But if you have less friend then less response make more friends. My discussion is also not notice because depend the mylotter choice our subject or contents if they like then they respond on it.

Hi RSantos! I don't think that would be the reason, I mean the trash. Personally, I cannot reply to some discussion because sometimes I don't know anything about the topic, different interest and I just don't know how I could post a question regarding the topic. Secondly, I was not able to log in for quite sometimes and some of the discussions had already passed and replace by the new ones. Though I would want to make a response to the discussions of my friends primarily, there are are really some reasons why I could not do it. But it doesn't mean that your discussion is a trash. Hi friend, some time good topics don't get a lot of replies at the beginning, but don't worry for it. Our discussion will stay here for a long, if it is not violated the terms and people have the ability to place their reply even after a year. Some of my topics also don't get a lot of replies in the beginning, but day by day i am getting replies from various persons. So keep patience

I know I have least responses also and it is okay. the number of discussions starting is too much and that is why maybe some discussions don't get noticed. at least your are trying. You discussions are good and not trash. just go with the flow., Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi, friend Don't worry about that. It's obvious that you are not having a trash discussion. I think there are many many reasons for that. Most people have work and they just come here on weekends or some other time when they are free.I know I am. During the last month I was having my summer vacation so I was always here. And today is my weekend and I am also here. But last several days I had to go to work, and I was tired so I seldom came here. Have a nice weekend!

hello, RSantos! There are really times that posted discussions could not attract as much comments as others. There are several reasons for this: your friends are no longer that active, there are more discussions posted everyday that it goes to a few pages back on the list of discussions on a certain interest or maybe the topics you have posted were not interesting enough to get noticed maybe because there have been similar topics posted before. I hope you won't get offended by that. And just to make it up to you, you shouldn't worry too much about not receiving a lot of comments on your posted discussions coz there are discussions that NEVER even received a single comment. Just make your discussions more interesting and intriguing. Make a catchy topic. You would surely attract a lot of readers for it.

there are times when our discussion has a lot of responses and sometimes there aren't or sometimes just a few. i think it all depends on the kind of topic you posted if it is interesting enough and how too many people can relate to it.

Hi! Don't worry about that. There are really times that you will have least responses in your discussions and there's also a time that you will receive many responses. Its just normal. And I don't think that the population in myLot is the cause of this. Because as I notice, its still 240 thousand plus members are still online everyday. :)

well, i agree with the state that mylot is getting bigger and bigger so there's some of discussion are not being noticed by other users. as i am, i always just check the homepage of mylot.com, and will often responses to the top discussion, or discussions myfriends started, or discussions from my interest. if there's no one i want to response, so i will not search any other discussion, and will just check mylot.com again sometime, when there's a new discussion in the homepage. maybe we can be friends so i will often response to your new discussion ..? haha! have a nice day too :)
