Hi sure! My family had a plane trip to the capital city of our place last year for a vacation. My children are so happy because that was actually their first time to ride on an airplane. I got the plane ticket at a discount.

Hi again. please make the post in dollars so I may understand. How much is 3000 rs? thank you. In our place you could travel to the capital city for $30 or less. They are giving frequently discounted tickets. You just have to book in advance.

Hi, In fact , taking a plane is just like taking a lift . I am airsick so I don't like to take an aeroplane. But seeing sky and the cloud near me even beneath me is really exciting. Life will be better and better, and I believe your wish will come true. Have a nice weekend!

In my younger days I was a budget minded backpacker. I am now an independent traveler. My first trip on a plane I paid for with my paper round. I was 14 years old and I flew from London to Athens. The plane journey took three and a half hours. I got severe ear pain on landing. The trip home was delayed by many hours. My next flight was when I was 18 years old and that was a one way flight from London to Helsinki in Finland. I flew London to Sfax in Tunisia return when I was 19 years old. Later in that year which was 1991 I went on my first long haul flight from London to St Lucia in the Caribbean. In 1993 and 1994 I flew around the world. To pay for that trip I let out my cottage and got a working holiday visa for Australia. Good luck for going in a plane soon. Maybe go on a low cost flight to a short distance away. You should look for a budget airline and a nearby airport. When I was a young person I stayed in dorms in youth hostels and did self catering. I traveled with very little money and had a great time. Have a look at a Lonely Planet Travel on a Shoestring book. I wish you loads of luck and a very enjoyable time.

I actually enjoy flying, but it has been over five years since the last time that we had the opportunity to take a trip on a plane. One of the reasons that I like to fly so much is because of the fact that it is a method of transportation that will get you from point A to point B a lot faster than you would be able to get there otherwise. The other thing that I really like about flying is the unique perspective from which you are able to see the land when the plane is taking off and landing.

I get scared whenever the plane is to make a touch down on the runway. It would touch and then run so fast in the runway, that i have the feeling that it would crash. But overall, i enjoy riding an airplane. Though, it's expensive so i get to ride it only, when i am on official business and it's on the company's expense.

Hi dear, I traveled in flight twice and there is nothing much excited. According to my son plain travel is really boring as he can’t use the mobile for playing, and can’t run here and there etc. The only thing he liked in plain travel the view from the plain to the land as the flight is so high, the down part is looks like cotton spread everywhere (the clouds looks like that way). I hope you will get an opportunity to travel in a flight so soon.

surekha: you are like any other person aspiring for something which you have not seen. I remember first time i travelled by air about 30 years ago or so to Kochi on official work. But 30000 feet above you feel some times --that nothing is in our hands-- God only guides all these things.-- yes. while travelling to usa/canada we will be over ocean for nearly 6 hours or so-- with ice on sea and our travelling 35000 feet above sea level -- i always use to pray please reach us destinationn safely. However if you wish, i am sure you will travel and that should be for necessity to meet your close ones....hope you understand and am sure you will get it done more than once.

Hi friend, I also would love to take a seat on a plane again someday. But I do not have money at the moment. It's a good feeling when you are on air with the clouds. I hope you get to experience it. When you do tell me how you felt. :)

I used to be like you and used to dream. My home is on the second largest island in Fiji and the University was on the main Island so we had to travel and there was ship and also plane. I could never afford the plane and always took ship. This was the small planes because our airport is small. My friends and cousins used to travel by plane and i was the only one not seated in the plane among of the friends. I used to dream and also told them that one day i will sit in the big jet and not this small one which is nothing..lol I used to joke about it too but in my heart there was a desire. So when i got the scholarship to study in India, i got a chance to sit in Big jet and I was glad that my dream came true. I sat in the Airbus. It was about 28 hours journey with stop overs in Australia and then Singapore. So don't give up your dream. one day it will come true. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

It's a dream that is not impossible to happen. It will happen sooner or later and you will enjoy the first time but will feel not too excited anymore in succeeding flights. Good luck on your first airplane trip Surekharathi.
