Is it possible for you? Comment back in your all discussions

As much as possible I want to give a comment on all the responses I got with my discussions. But due to time constraint, I cannot do it. there are several responses that I cannot comment back and I am sad for it. I also keep coming back to my old discussions as there maybe new responses. But I will see to it to make a comment even if it is late already. I know our friends will understand the situation.

Yes, I like to comment back all the responses on my discussion.

I comment back, sometimes over and over again if the responder comments back too, as soon as I can. When I first start a topic I am usually online and comment back immediately to the responses that arrive. Then at some point I have to sign off. If other responses appear I will get back to them as soon as I possibly can, which might be the next day or the next week but, except for two topics which were extremely personal and I didn't feel like commenting further, I always comment back eventually. If we don't comment back then it is not really a discussion, unless others do it for us. When we comment back we are earning too and we will often make new friends because most lotters are here to discuss and that is what we are doing when we comment back.

Earlier i would try to all comments if possible. But now i just respond to comments that are not generic and have some value or intended to prolong the discussion in a healthy manner.

hi surekha, As much as possible I reply to all my respondent cause I don't want to be call as a response collector besides we must reply them back cause they give effort to comment on our discussion started. happy mylotting

I think commenting back it good. I do comment back to many though I haven't counted but mostly I try to comment back on all the responses. Commenting 2 year old responses or discussions is good and have a high chance of getting more responses because it goes in the list of recent discussions and this way i have responded to discussions which are old. Personally I am always trying to respond back in all the responses in the discussions I start unless they are no longer relevant to what is going on now. I am quite behind in doing this, and trying to play catch up as I can. It is a lot of work, but so worth it to see what everyone else has said.

Hi dear, At present I am not so active in mylot so the question is not relevant for me, I think. But whenever I start a topic I do my best to comment back to all responses. Sometimes it may be late, but I try to be particular on this work. If we are selective on commenting back, it will hurt those people, who are not getting a comment. All are devoting their precious time to respond so we must consider that and respect it too. Not getting enough time, that is an excusable reason too.

Whenever I visit an discussion I started I try to respond to everyone so everyone can feel included . I think that is proper if I was not able to comment to some then I would leave all of them until I have more time to do them all together . Even now I visit some of my old discussion and comment back to new comments I get . I think it show appreciation to reply to everyone and not let anyone feel excluded . So it is possible to comment back in all your discussion because I am doing it .

I am going to try to comment on a lot of my old discussions as well as reply to discussions that people are starting. It is hard to keep up as there are people out there that are still answering discussions that I started years ago, plus there are only so many hours in a day that we can all be on here.

For me, it doesn't matter if I have one response on the discussion that I've started or if there is over 100 responses on a discussion that I've started, I will leave a comment for each and every person that has taken the time to respond to the discussions that I have started. The reason that I do this is because of the fact that I think this is what it takes to actually have a successful discussion. You never know when the person that made the 45th comment on your discussion might be the one person that you will be able to have a long and fulfilling discussion with.

I did comment on all of the responses in my discussions which I started. Normally, commenting on the responses of my discussions will be my priority before I start my new discussion or responding to new discussions. I believe this should be the proper manner to be polite to those who respond to my discussions. Hopefully, it shall be the normal practice to all of us here.

I totally forget to comment on my old discussions. But on new discussions I comment on most of the discussions. I think if discussions is more and more then not possible to comment back all but if less then we can comment on all.

I agree with you.I have initiated only a few discussions all except one of them failed to draw a satisfactory number of responses.I have added comments to all of them.Commenting back on all comments amounts to honoring the respondents'labor.After all they have taken pains to think over and send responses to our discussions.If some of them are left without a comment,then it would mean that we don't respect their labor.I can't do that.

I almost always comment back 100%. If I get a response that doesn't make sense, sometimes I won't reply to it.

When I start a new discussion it is always my intention to comment on every single response, but I have many discussions where I didn't write all of the comments yet. I intend to return to those discussions and comment on the responses that I didn't comment on yet. I think that is a lot of fun to talk to the people who have responded to my discussions, I always enjoy that, but it takes me a long time to get back to everyone. At the moment I start new discussions daily or almost daily, because I find it very interesting to hear what other people think about my topics and I love to share news, thoughts and experiences. In the end of this month I will take a break where I don't start any new discussions and that will give me the chance to catch up and get back to the old discussions.

Hi,i haven't commented back all discussions,i usually select some important or valued comments to reply and sometimes i think it is not very polite,but i have to admit to some comments,i have no word to say,so i think my behave should be pardoned.

When i was just starting here my lot, i am a bit afraid to write a comment back nor write my own discussion. I am feeling lack of self confidence if i can write nice response, but now i am getting use to it and becoming more excited everyday to log on in my lot to see the new comment on my discussions and i am happily responding back all of my friends and non friends writing.

Well, personally I like to comment back to the MyLotters that responds to my discussions, the reason is that I would like to thank them on their opinions and that choosing my topic to answer gives quite a good feeling that people likes the idea of my discussions.

I comment on all the discussions I have created, I just think its the polite thing to do.
