This morning i washed my hair after washing my clothes. Everything seemed ok and i sang a nice song while washing hairs also.
Suddenly i found that there is no water anymore while my hairs are full of shampoo foam. I turned off and on a van many times... but no water at all.
OMG, what happens!!! Oh no, please please... not now, i need water to complete washing my hairs...i can't stay whole day with my hairs like this...
And you know what... finally i could complete washing my hair..by using all drinking water that i have...hix...

So sorry that had to happen to you..It's frustrating when bad things happen to good people...
You were smart for being creative for using drinking water..Water especially clean water is so essential in our life..I hope i will never have to go through that in my life ever..

No landlord to stay in there..they live in another place. Currently there is no running water yet. I have to minimize using water when i am at home because i buy drinking water for using...however i will take shower and wash my hair in my office's bathroom.

I was in an open fresh market this morning when the public announcement system said not to use the public toilets because there is no running water. I was thinking then how bad that would be for those who really needed to use the toilets at the time. But I guess you experienced similarly unfortunate incident. So now make sure you always have enough drinking water handy. You'll never know when you'll be without running water again next...

Yeah, i have a lesson ..and now before wash hair or take shower, i have to contain enough water in a basin first. I really don't want to think of a situation that there is no running water and i don't have much drinking water too...then i have to stay whole day with my hair with full of foam.

Oh that's really uncomfortable. I wonder how were you able to transfer your drinking water to the bathroom. I would also be pissed when that happens. Nothing is so annoying than having a sud-ful of shampoo-ed hair. I just hope you were able to rinse all the shampoo from your hair completely. I think any left over residue can cause flakes or dandruff.

Ryan, there is a time when i was doing some clean-up in my kitchen when suddenly no water at all. Since my hands was still covered with dirts, i have no other choice then to call my hubby to pour some drinking water to clean my hands. Luckily, i always make a lot of drinking water, so it is not a problem to me although i used some of them for cleaning my hands. Sometimes, it is hard to estimate when the water is not available especially when we are busy do some cleaning. Hope you still have enough drinking water for use after you had used them for washing your hair. Hope you had washed clan your hair....

yeah, we don't know when running water is cut off, so that many guys may face to that problem also.
Today there is no running water in my house yet and i have to limit to use water at home. I take shower ans washing in my office's bathroom...it is really hard when we don't have much water for our use...

hi ryanong! your story seems like in a movie which i watched many years ago. LOL! but in that movie that guy quickly went to buy many bottles of drinking water from the market with just a towel and his hair full of shampoo foam.
hmm... but if you are able to comple washing your hair using your drinking water, that means either you drink a lot of water daily or you have short hair... or maybe BOTH?

I feel sorry after read your encounter, you really unlucky. Fortunately, you solved the problem of drinking water finally. Here I have a little suggestion to you, maybe can avoid the recurrence of similar accidents: twist the faucet to the minimum then put a bucket under it, let the water collected into the bucket drop by drop, then you will get a bucket full of water next morning. This is the way which mum used to save water method, I think it also can be used to cope with the sudden without water.

Oh..that is really frustrating, yet you came out with a creative solution :)
I remembered I too used the mineral water from bottles to prepare water for
my son to take bath. When we need water, the water from the mineral bottle
seems so little to fill up half of the tub.
There is one occasion during the first day of Chinese New Year. The hotel
having water problem, piping burst and no water for all the hotel guests.
So, what happens was the hotel provided each room with two big bottle of
mineral water for us to wash our face and brush our teeth. When we check out,
the hotel automatically gave a 20% discount on room charges.

Yeah, you are right, when we need water, the water from the mineral bottle
seems so little for using. But finally i could solve it.
Oh, at least that hotel is nice to support water to you guys. But to be honest, i don't want it happens in my vacation because i like to take a hot bath everyday when i traveling or take rest in a resort.

I have never experienced that yet, but it would be just my luck. What a bad time for the water to go out. Be glad you had some drinking water you could use, or you might still have soap in your hair. I hope your water wasn't out long!

hi ryanong I had that happened to me too as they were repairing our street and some guy in a big machine dug too deep and broke the water main for our who le street. they shut the water off and there I st ood with my hair all nicely lathered up. So since my son was at work I borrowes several containers of bottled water and dumped them on my hair and my sudsy body, I also left money for him to replace the water I had borrowed., I had never seen my hair look so good.that water rinse really did a great job.

That had to suck... lol. I've never had the water shut off on me while I was taking a shower, so I can't relate (other than the fact that the water has shut off on me before... just not while I was using it).

Pure water which is fit for drinking is very precious. As we people know that earth is abundant with plenty of water but they are not fit for drinking. So we must try to save those pure water.

oh,oh,oh...what happened to your water? why you run out of water? is it due to black out or you don't have water in the tank anymore? That's a sad yet funny experience i just can't imagine myself using mineral water to bath that's expensive and too much but if I will left no choice then perhaps I will. How was your water situation now?
