Ok, curiosity was killing me. So I found the movie that is supposed to be responsible for the attacks on US Embassy s in Libya, Yemen, Egypt and so on. For your own information and curiosity, here is the movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2E55rwmKSyg this is almost 14 minutes of awful acting, directing and editing. It is awful and anybody that would take it seriously really needs to rethink things. Yes it is offensive but not nearly as offensive as half of the crap that people try to insinuate on Jesus Christ. If you have 14 minutes of your life to waste, watch and comment.

Watched part of the movie on Sunnewsnetwork and anyone would have to be incredibly dumb and stupid to think that the murderers of the ambassador and the others were influenced by this particular You tube. If a movie such as this was the reason then anything that hurts as Muslim's feelings would be so that we would have to forever walk around on tip toes and be in fear. The reason they attacked besides it being the annioversary of 911 was that they hate the freedom we have and want us all to convert to Islam and for all the women to be veiled, stay at home, have no education and the men can run around and do what they like.

I agree, the attack of our embassies would not change the movie, but hey maybe hollywood will make a more believable movie.

Suspenseful, I'm willing to bet that not ONE of the attackers watched the movie. I think it was more like they were told that a movie that insults Islam was made by America and they need to murder Americans to make them pay for this insult. The people involved are a bunch of violent, ignorant morons who can't think for themselves. The ringleaders are just looking for crap to rally them. How did anyone even learn about that stupid video?

I for one am not going to watch it in the near future so i am in no way able to comment on the "movie". But no matter the content of this movie it appears to be yet another excuse riot and kill innocents that they know have no connection with this movie. that is murder, so which is worse? a sh1t movie or murder? And they can stop using that Allah and Muhhamad have been insulted as their teachings are based on peace so that's not the true reason.

I agree. And no matter what was in the movie - by the way, not much was in the movie- there is no justification for what they did to our embassies.

I do not have 14 minutes to waste. I just need to know what you think is the motive behind such a crap.

While I am totally against killing of any innocent people. I would like to point out calling Christians (or anybody else) fools is something and insulting a religious deity is something else and should not be seen as the same.

Even if the film had called there is no Muhammad or Allah, that would not have been as bad. But name calling and abusing is something different.

I do not see it as the same motive as saying someone is a fool for believing. A lot of Christians think any other religious people are idiots for not believing in their deity. It is different than portraying what someone sees as their savior in such a horrible light. Some people get offended and this group decided to attack. It is no different than some people getting upset that their faith isn't being followed and deciding to violently attack someone and just like Muslims, there are Christians that do it as well. I think the motive of this movie was to insult Islam and make fun of them. I mean it was pretty clear by that crappy movie. I don't think it would have gotten that terrible of a reaction with the saying of no Muhammad or Allah. I don't condone killing innocent people as they had nothing to do with it and think the ones who attacked those people should be brought to justice, but I also think the filmmaker should be brought to justice as well.

That was really bad acting. I stayed for a couple of minutes. I think that it doesn't take much for these types to get upset and start something. It may have been just the last straw. And maybe they thought it was realistic enough to really bother them too. You just don't know.

or, as the intel shows, they planned the attack and just threw that in for good measure.

I think that most of that stuff is well planned.

I am not wasting 14 minutes of my life watching it. It was made with purpose of pissing people off and getting attention. I have been reading on this to try and understand why the reaction that happened did.....it is because of a lack of understanding about how our country works. in most Muslim ruled countries, no movie can be made without government approval. So they think it is that way here too so they think the us government approved the film. now I am sure the higher up people understand how our country works. But your average citizen in this countries assumes our government rules us the way their government does. Which means they see the film as government approved attack on their religion. They don't understand our freedom of speech. They don't understand our freedom.

Bear in mind, most of these protesters never saw the movie either. And bottom line, when our embassies are being attacked, our country is being attacked

I could only stomach about 5 minutes of it. It is horribly made, horribly acted, horribly dubbed. I dont know what the purpose of it was. Maybe it was meant to inflame people. Maybe it was meant as a joke/parody. Either way, it is disgusting.

I couldn't agree more. I am willing to bet that the majority of the "protesters" never even saw it. Just a couple of guys and their opinion on it.

I dont feel like wating 14 minutes of my time to watch the video so I will just take your word for it how bad the acting is. Can you tell me why this movie upset people so much that they killed everyone inside the embassy? I also heard the people inside the embassy were unarmed which is very sad they couldnt even defend themselves.

I can't speak for the extremists that murdered the people in the embassy. I did not see a single thing in that film that would have caused such a violent reaction. It is a sad attempt at slight of hand.

I have seen it. It's not the whole movie, it's a trailer, or a mishmash of bits of the movie, not sure if there is a full-length finished version. It may be offensive to those who worship Mohammed, but it's not untrue. The details of the biography are not untrue. This recounting of the details about the man and his life are offensive because they are true. But even if the movie were wholly false, it does not matter. This is the United States where you have a legal right to be offensive and if this is slanderous then so is the movie about Abraham Lincoln being a Vampire hunter and so is the movie "The Last Temptation of Christ" and so is the "art" of Robert Mapplethorpe with his crucifix in a jar of urine, and that life-size sculpture of Jesus made out of chocolate, etc. And of course, the movie is only the convenient excuse and if there was any question about the movie being the cause of the attacks, we know it's an utter lie as soon as we hear Jay Carney trying so hard not to say anything other than the rehearsed line he's been told to say, no matter the question or the idiocy of his response. As long as we keep giving the bully our lunch money, he's never going to stop threatening us.

Haha, I just watched the press conference and I see what you mean about Jay Carney. It was funny actually because he couldn't even convince himself!
