I had never read any book twice except now. There's this book by Jane Hamilton that really got me super interested. It's called "The Book of Ruth" and I was smitten by her writing style and the way she describes people and scenes. Since then, I had tried looking for books by the same writer but did not find any. Because of this, I felt I needed to reread the book again and yes, I am still finding new things which I did not see when I first read it and I am the more smitten by it. This book has seal that says it's part of Oprah's Book Club collection. So please, if you have any book by Jane Hamilton, do you mind selling or maybe swapping?

I didn't read a book twice, not because i dislike but for i always read them on the computer or phone, when i finished one,i would deleted it.
And if i want to reread,i prefer buy a paper book.

The kindle is lighter than a hardback book, and also lighter than many of these big paperbacks-You can read it one handed if you want, the screen is clear to read and type size is adjustable for anyone to read..and if you can get a series of books you enjoy, you're not having to carry all of them around to follow the story..this "50 shades of Grey" series is apparently a big seller for Amazon with the kindle,as there's no cover for someone passing by to see and realise what's causing the page turning..!

Good books are always worth reading again...You might give a book the chance and read it once, but if you couldn't finish it or lost interest then you might not even pick up another one by the same Author..And even if you read a good book,it's not always a guarantee you'd enjoy another!
I read "The Time Traveller's Wife" (borrowed it from my Cousin) and enjoyed it so much,I wanted to get the ebook for my kindle..but at the time,it wasn't available on Amazon..and I opted instead to fill the gap and get a follow up book by the same Author,"Her Fearful Symmetry"..did not like..
sorry, haven't yet heard of this author you mention..

Most of the time I prefer to read new books, but there are some books that I have read more than once for instance the books by Ingvar Ambjornsen (the stories about Elling) "The cry of the cat" by Richard Kalich, O Henry's stories, "The hole" by Guy Burt and a Danish novel called "The wallet". I plan on reading some of those books again in the future especially the books by Ingvar Ambjorsen, because I recently watched the last movie. I thought that it could be interesting to read the books again and the compare the books and the movie.

I'll answer your title only!
I have reread "catcher in the rye" 4 times and "all quiet in the western front" "goodbye Mr Chips" and "The day of the triffids" twice.
Many books make me rethink life as do some great movies!

I think it was long time since i last read a book. but if i can, i still do read. I happen to reread a book if i have forgotten about the story of it or i have forgotten that i already read it.
I would ssy, i only reread or read if i have the mood to do so.
if i do, i'd be sure that it was short story to rewd it il the end.

Sometimes, I often re-read my old books. I did it because I was interested in my book. This has positive value. We can better remember the books content we have read. If I re-read books, so we more understand and esy to remember. Ido not want to sell my old books. Usually, I collected into bookcase. At some point, I will need to re-read my book. Anyway, if I sold my books would only make a little money. Whereas before I bought the books it cost is more expensive.

Before the dawn of computers I spent a lot of time reading novels and some of them I have read more than once such as Hotel by Arthur Hailey, A Woman of Substance by Barbara Taylor, The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. and Carpet Baggars by Harold Robbins. I have also watched movies based on these novels.
I have no time now to read, thanks to my addiction to the Internet and everything connected with my pc. I have several other pursuits that have taken away my interest in reading.

I have been fond of reading books since my childhood. Now I have a home library of my own.It contains my choicest books. Most of them are in my mother tongue,Hindi.I don't know whether you believe me or not if I tell you that I have read some of them more than ten times and would read them again after some days.A great Hindi novel is so thought evoking that I could not help reading it again and again.

I think the only books ive reread are the harry potter series. i mean it came out when i was young and was so addictive and imaginative i had to delve into that world time and time again. i do however keep books in hopes of rereading them though i never find the time, i just move on to a new one.

I am not a bookworm to be honest, but when I've read Dan Brown's Digital Fortress and Deception Point I started to love books. I am still choosy thought. I've reread most of his books and Dean Koontz. :)
