When was the last time you say "I LOVE YOU" to your spouse, parents, child or whoever? Does this word/phrase become too old fashioned or obsolete that it need not to be uttered anymore? What do you think?

hi, mangtony, I rerely said "I Love You". I think it's very hard to say this statement -at least for me. I'd rather showing my love and care to someone, friend, relative or family by attitude, such as giving them surprise or take care them. It is hard for me to say "I love you". how about you?

with girlfriend/ wife/ boyfriend/ husband, saying "I Love You" is easier than saying it to your family or relatives, such as parent, sister or brother. do you say it to your family too?

Hello redvakaurvaki, greetings. I agree with you, it really is hard to say "I love you" when you are not accustomed to it. I begun saying that magical word (as I call it) when I first met my wife. It's her influence or just simply contagious after all.

The last time I said I love you to my spouse was yesturday night. I should've said it this morning too. I think it's important to say it and mean it, you never know when you're going to see that person again (knock on wood). I realized it's important for me to keep doing little special things for your spouse. He'll buy me flowers and I will bake him a cake. Both of us end up eating the cake though:P

Hello lizcyprus, greetings. I am inspired to read your response. My wife used to say that magic word/phrase before we sleep. And we are now more than 30 years happily married.

Hello Naseem00, greetings. As the saying goes, " Actions speak louder than words" but same is also true, " Words are active, alive and powerful". Some like it words, some like actions, some like it words plus actions. Good day my friend.

I think sometimes people just assume this emotions, I freely tell any family member "I Love You" every time we see or speak to one another. Some people have a hard time telling someone that they love each other, they just assume the other person should know.

Hello STOUTjodee, greetings. You are right, many are taking those words for granted. No wonder, the generations after them are unable to express their actions with words.
