Coffee is antioxidant. But sometimes bad for our health especially if you take in too much can lead you to inability to sleep. Cola is so nice to drink but if taken more can lead to health ailment like diabetes and others. Tea is nice too. But water is the best.
Why do other people indulge there self to those drinks rather than water?

I don't drink Cola. I know some of my family love it though. They say its the taste and it don't go flat as fast as the other caffeinated soda's. But its soda. Bad for anyone to drink because of it has ethylene glycol, which is used in anti-freeze. Ethylene glycol that is a slow poison, it won’t kill you if you have it in small quantities but it will kill you in large quantities. I thought that was interesting reading from website http://www.askipedia.com/why-is-coca-cola-so-bad-for-you-what-does-it-do-to-your-body-exactly/
Now tea is supposed to be healthy, just got to be careful of the brand you buy and how much sugar is in it. Some people like tea for the sweetness in flavor where others hate tea. I like tea sometimes, but I noticed drinking it makes me more thirsty so then I need water afterwords. Water is boring. Not many people drink enough of it. Occasional to encourage myself to drink more I make up a flavored bottle of water. You know the packets you can buy to add to bottle of water. Than I can drink the whole bottle in 30mins or less.

Wow I've just heard the fact about ethylene glycol
Thanks for the info !
I only know that soda has a high amount of sugar covered by its acid . And both of them are the most egregious agents on caries .

Tea is good for your health, offering a degree of protection from cancer
Here is my method for the perfect cup of tea, from the English tea ceremony or afternoon tea, as we call it.
The Method
Firstly empty the kettle and clean it of any scale.
Let the tap run and fill the kettle from fast running water.
Pour a little of the boiling water into the teapot to warm it then discard
To the teapot, ceramic not metal, add one teaspoon of good tea, such as English Breakfast Blend to the pot for each cup and one additional measure.
When the water has boiled pour into the pot from a height to ensure maximum aeration.
Stir and cover the pot with a cosy, leave for 3 to 5 minutes.
The room.
Ensure you have a quiet room, with perhaps a slow ticking clock (Less than one tick a second) and birdsong.
Arrange the curtains or blinds so that the room is darkish but if possible with some sunlight filtering through.
Whilst you are waiting for the tea to brew you will begin to relax and unwind.
Enjoying the tea.
Serve the tea on a tray with a small jug of cold milk, heating milk changes its flavour. Also you will need some cups, saucers and tea spoons. The teaspoons are important even if, like me, you don't take sugar since they produce the correct noise against the cup and saucer. Pour the tea on from a height to ensure maximum aeration and add just a little milk and sugar if desired but only a very small amount.
Beginners may take some 'McVities Rich tea biscuits or Digestives, a cucumber sandwich but should avoid items such as scones that may be enjoyed by those proficient in the art.
You may talk about the weather but conversation should have long pauses for reflection.
If done correctly this will produce perfect relaxation and clarity of mind.

Coffee, cola or tea whichever colored drinks they maybe unless they are all natural fruit juice are nothing but slow killers. I don't actually drink any of them. Coffee is addictive and can weaken bones while tea and cola can destroy stomach linings and have so many other bad effects on our body. They are actually killing us. The safest water to drink is water but make sure it is pure and not chlorinated.Mineral and alkaline water are always the best.

Other people indulge to those drinks rather than water because it is more tasty. It gives the person a satisfaction that can quench thirst or make the person feels more relaxed. There's no harm drinking this kinds of drinks if you drink it in moderation. However, water is still the best. Tea is good to our health because it has antioxidants. But then don't drink tea at night because it contains caffeine and it has a diuretic effect thus can interrupt your sleep. It has also the same effect when you drink coffee. When you drink cola, you should drink a lot of water after so that you can eliminate those toxins.

Hi,
I like to drink tea. In summer I like to drink soft drinks. I drink coffee very few times. like coffee but I like tea more. But all these beverages have some disadvantages if we drink them beyond the limit. We should take them moderately. But water is the best. There are no side effects of water. Water is essential for blood circulation, digestion and overall functioning of our body. So we should drink more water than other drinks.

I think people indulge themselves with other drinks besides water due to the simple fact that they are craving a different drink at that time, the same reason people go for unhealthy foods when they also have healthy foods infront of their face. When experiencing a craving, people normally do not think about how bad it is for the health they are simply thinking of satisfying their craving. I crave cola all the time and I would prefer it over water, tea or coffee, I realize this is a negative thing.

I think it really depend on the situation.. For me, i would put water first in all drinks, because as we say, water is necessary for us to live. Water is the universal solvent according to scientist.
Coffe, cola, tea, you cannot make them without water, you need water to be able to produce them.. People strive for better and comfortable life result to the creation of this drinks.
For me, as long as you do balance on your drinks then their is nothing to worry about. Of course water is more important.. but their is nothing wrong trying another drinks as long as know your limitations.

Hi,
When food don't settle well in the stomach after a meal, it is customary to take in cola or coffee to wash it down. For example, I love raw fish in vinegar and red pepper and I don't drink water right after eating, it is bad for digesting the uncooked fish.

It is just a matter of crave. I like coffee. No matter how much (a cuppa or two) I can still go to sleep. Probably I am already immune to it! But if you need to stay up and be awake then take coffee or tea. It is good for fatigue too. Water is still the best and it is life essential.

Stop and think, water has a few or does not have a taste at all which make it boring to drink, unlike sodas and coffee, aside from having an stimulating taste they also have chemicals which are addicting "caffeine". Drinking sodas and coffee in moderation is okay and can be helpful sometimes. Just remember "too much of a good thing is a bad thing". Stay healthy

From experience, I generally drink cola or tea because they have a different flavor than water. I get very boring drinking the same thing every day. I crave variety, which means I try to drink various drinks. While I do still drink water, I like sweet drinks. Everyone has different tastes for drinks, which makes sense for people wanting to try different drinks. Although some people may drink things that are not so healthy quite frequently, it's their freedom of choice to do that.

Why not? We love to do something that destructs our body, rite? Eating the junk foods, drinking soda , and so on. We love tasty foods/drinks eventhough we have already known the bad fact about the foods/drinks.
But , yes you are rite about water is the best. We already have enough nutrients in our foods, so we need plain water to balance the cleansing in our body. But actually tea is nice to help you lose some weights , you can just drink it without adding some sugar .
And about cola - I rarely drink it. How about the coffee ? well, my doctor said that coffee is good for increasing blood pressure which means it is good for patients who have low blood pressure and it is dangerous for whose blood pressure is high.
