Worth the Money?

To buy a new cell phone today (mid-contract) can be outrageously expensive. I have recently been having a lot of trouble with my BlackBerry, which I have had since November. This morning, my BlackBerry ran out of space and automatically deleted 3/4 of my new emails, my texts, apps and I do not know what else. I am really considering changing over to an iPhone, but since I only work part-time, saving the $500+ for a new iPhone is kind of a big deal.
Is the iPhone really worth it? I am the type of person who has to be available by phone 24/7 and I obsessively check my emails. Communication is very important to me, and thus I must have a reliable phone. Sometimes my current phone forwards calls straight to voicemail without ringing. This is unacceptable. But is it better for me to get a more reasonably-priced phone now and wait the year left on my contract to get an iphone or do you think I would be better off getting saving and one as soon as possible?

If you think that you are missing a lot of important calls, emails and messages with your existing phone that it gets to a point of being disruptive with your business communication, then I think you can replace your phone now and be worry-free.

God bless every one!.
I really understand such issue. I have wasted a lot of time trying to get a better comunications, to keep contact to friend, family, bussiness and so.
I just can suggest, you switch to android phones, go get some infos, see them, whatch some youtube videos, while you collect the money you will need, try to get familiar with the soft, and some models of phones. I thinks you will like them, and so will them.
God bless all of us, as much a we can wish.

Based on experience, I have used iPhone 3GS and now using iPhone 4s, it's very very efficient for me (contrary to the marketing schemes that claims it's nothing but a name). Like you, I need to be contacted 24/7, send emails on-the-go and need to save files etc.
I think it's really efficient because I don't need to worry about my files because they have great apps (if you know how to find those) that are free that manages files without deleting them without your consent. I have never ran out of space and I wouldn't exchange my phone for anything else.
I don't know about the new iPhone 5 though, I have no experience with it yet, and I'm not planning to buy one because my phone still works like a charm. But if you'd like you could go asking people bout their experiences with other brands but I find Apple's devices smoother on the learning curves (I don't need to know a lot in order for it to work for me).
So just try, for me I think a good phone is worth the money if you're using it to accumulate money in the first place. But if it's just for cute's sake, any phone is not worth buying.
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

If you are having trouble with your phone, then your network provider should be able to fix it for you providing that you are under contract with them. As the phone is still technically their property, they have the responsibility of actually making sure that everything is in good working order for you. I wouldn't want to buy a new phone at this point in the contract and, even if I did want to buy the iPhone, there is no way that I would be getting the newest model when you can get the model one step back for free on contract.

One option is to get the older iPhone instead of the latest. Some of the mobile providers are offering iPhone 3s for free when you sign up for subscription.
Alternatively, you can go for some of the low end Android phones or switch to another model of BlackBerry.
However, sounds like the problem with running out of space has to be addressed no matter what phone you have. Have you tried reducing the number of days worth of mails to put on your phone? I do not know the volume of your email daily, I am sure there are many options to reduce the number of mail or size of the mails you get on your phone.

I am not really quite familiar about the phone application of the phones you're talking about. All I knew is black berry and iphone are good. To buy something it's really important to know the price and the quality. If you really need to buy a new gadgets this time then go for it, but if your phone this time is still useful then you may wait for the contract to finish and go for iphone. Honestly, since technology is upgrading, it's reliability is upgrading as well and sometimes sad to say that we can't really rely with this one for technology even how good it is; still has it's limitation.

I say its definitely time that you change your phone. But i would rather suggest you go with Android.. That way you get a wide number of handsets to choose from and you would also save a lot as many of the Androids come around pretty cheap.. And then again Android is indeed reliable and you can get a great phone paying comparatively much less.!

If you don't have that much money, I don't think it is worth it. Have a look around for other types of phone, there are cheaper ones that do most of the same things - even an older make of Blackberry.
