If you're given a chance to turn back time, what time it will be?

If ever I'll be given the chance to turn back time, it will be the day when am still a child. I think this stage is the stage wherein this will be your foundation of who you gonna be when you grow up. This is where you build your self-confidence, trust to yourself and others, love for thyself and others, respect for self and others and the guts to stand on what you really like and not what others like you to become. I want to rewrite my childhood life, I think there is something about that story in my life that causes me to have conflicts of what I am right now. The reason that till now I m still lost.

I would love to go back to the time when I was just a kid. That time when you are not thinking about any problem at all. Only play and play. We love to go to the woods and hunt for birds, spiders, climb the fruit trees. We love to go to the sea shores to swim and get some clams and oysters. Some times we would cut class just to go to the sea shore and swim. After school, we don't go home yet. We love to run around the school yard, playing, jumping, tumbling, until the sun set. I really love to remember that day.

Thanks mlruelhz for the response! I also like to go back to that time in my life wherein you don't worry about everything. Like foods to eat, dress that you wear, the time, bills etc. All you know is to play, eat, watch TV. No worries. No deadlines.
So now that I have a child of my own I do always tell them to enjoy this time of their life because when they grow up there will be no more running around, playing, sleep all day and everything. ^_^

That's interesting, and if that happens, if I'll be given a chance to turn back time, i would want it to be on college. I have done so many silly things way back then like not studying properly before exams, not going to classes and just have self study because i was afraid that I may not get the lesson and be called on board to solve a tough problem which I cannot do. But now, i just realized that I actually can do all of them, just with the help of some self confidence, more self esteem and everything will just come with a puff. I could have done much better then, I know, I just knew.

Thanks for the response thelopautheory! It's good to hear that the time you would like to return to is your college life. Because for me my college life is my boring time because when I was in my college years there are just three places that I usually and every day go to, the school, my boarding house and our house. I don't experience the "happy go lucky" type of student. I am not that too active unlike when I was on my high school years that I do experience cutting classes, going to lake and have some picnic, jumping over the fence of the school etc.

nothing. because back when i was a child, i was then eager to grow up, when i was aready a grown up, seems like its nice to be a child once again..life is meant to be this way i guess, we just have to relive the moments in our thoughts, what is more important to enjoy is the... NOW.

Thanks for the response Gemsoria. That's life reality. We can never really rewind what was already have done.That's what we call "Past is Past". It just came into my mind that what "if" we had a chance does that chance really can make any difference to what we have right now? Anyways it just came across me because I seen one of the Japanese telenovela that has something about chances to go back in time. ^_^

I am not perfect, but I'm trying to be one. If I can turn back time, I would not change anything, things happened as I want it to be, as the best of me. If I did mistakes then I did, but in any situation I am doing my best to be perfect just as what Heavenly Father wants for us.

I do not want to go back to my childhood because I do not have a happy one but I would like to think that somehow that unhappy childhood makes me a better person, it drives not to do the same mistakes that my parents did.
I would turn back to the time when my mother was still alive and I will give her all the love and caring that she deserve for the sacrifices that she has done to my siblings and of course to my father and I will be a good daughter to her and make her dream for me come true.

I'd love to turn back time if given the chance.. But then, I would not want to relive things I'd rather not experience. I would be more content that I am here now because my past helped me get here. My pains in life are things I still begrudgingly thank simply because I won't be tougher, more optimistic, more cautious had those things in the past not happened.
