I'm trying to think of a liw cost gift to get my parents for their anniversary. I saw an idea of transferring pictures to glass votive candle holders on Pinterest that looked neat. I thought of doing an older pic of them but I can't find any good pics to use. Any suggestions of other ideas or what you have done for gifts?

You must have photos around the house that you could use. I made my parents an album of their life together, and this was something that they liked very much. I was able to put photos of everything including their marriage, children, other family, holidays and lots of other things as well. If this is not possible for you, then you could always plan a trip for them if you can think of anything that they have always wanted to do with their lives. I would like to take my parents on a shopping trip to New York as I know that they would both like that, but unfortunately I don't have the money to be able to do that at the moment.

One is you can create a simple video for them, put their memories there just like their first dates and their favorite song on the background of it and you might want to add the people who introduces them, how they love each other...
Another one is you can cook for them their favorite dishes on their day put a romantic aura on the garden and put some candle lights with it so they would celebrate it happily and put dedicate a song maybe their theme song for them.
You can also order online some personalized t-shirt for them.
I hope it'll help you wish them a happy anniversary!!!

It is hard... hahaha Perhaps a scrap book but it will take a lot of effort to do it and it is a heartwarming gift I think ;)
