It seems women grow older than men

Did you watch sherlock holmes 2, where Robert Downey Jr. wore lady's outfit on a train? He look like an old lady, which i think prove that men and women grows at relatively the same rate, but from the observer's point of view, women look older than men, but if we put a make-up in men like in that movie, we can see that men can be seen as old if he's dress as women.

From the point of physiological, speed of women get older acutally faster than men, especially after they birth of children.

Well, the actress could be older than the actor. So when she looks older than him, it could because she IS older than him. And the older you are, aging hits you harder. So while going from 20 to 30 is a slight change in looks, 30 to 40 is a major change in looks.

I think not all the time. Maybe that actress who played Lois Lane had so much trouble and stress in her life that is why she looked that way. Or maybe it has something to do with the make up the make up artist is brushing on her, or maybe she is really older that Superman ever since the start of the trilogy. Maybe the make up artist before has a good hand of making her look young. We don't know really. I think it depends on how women take care of their body and face. There are lots of women, younger than me that looked like older than me because of stress, most of them are working at the Call Center and they admit that kind of job is stressful and they forgot about their health and they already change lifestyles and sleeping pattern so that maybe the reason they look older than men.

I agree with jenny women have lots of work and tension than men. They can live freely without more tension. Women maintain all child, husband, their family members, office etc.

Hi, I know that women tend to get matured faster than men in terms of all aspects. Women also tend to think about a lot of things. Most of the time they do things simultaneously because women are multi-tasker. That is why they tend to get old faster than men ( due to a lot of stressors) . I believe that if men do not take care of themselves, they have also the tendency to look older.

I think the reason for that would be, women tend to worry more over a lot of things, unlike men who just shrug off their shoulders if they think that a certain event is not that important.

Well, in actual situation, most women tend to look older and grow older faster than men starting at certain age. I heard quite a lot of people talked about this and seen it in some articles as well. That's why there are so many products out there to help women to look young for a longer time. However we should not relate the artists or entertainers with other common people as most artist tend to do plastic surgery, or injection etc to stay young. That's why some female actress at over forty still look like over twenty years old. The most natural way to stay young a little bit longer is to exercise often, have a kind and sincere heart and smile always.
