How Do You Define Love For God?

Hello Mylotters,
I start my new discussion about GOD. I hope you don't mind taking your time, sharing some memories or encountering God in your life coz I have something to say about him.
Everyday we are very fortunate to live in this life. To search love to other people.To find some things that makes us very happy. Were living in this world not just by ourselves but for God.
When it comes to this topic. I defined it addicted. Why?. There are numerous answers that I couldn't state.But I specifically chose meaningful encountered. When you love him heartedly, You can't stop thinking of him everyday,hour,minute. Its like your mind is crazy over him. You feel like your being hypnotized without reason.In your dreams his there makes you giggle when he showed you marvelous thing.
It's more than like when you have a boyfriend/girlfriend and you really liked them. you can't stop talking. Every words you speak there's always his name.Every actions you performed you always emphasized why your doing these coz of your tremendous love for him . You can't stop gushing his love. Once you are under his spell you don't care what other people think of you/ you are overwhelmed.
you can't turn your back on him coz if you try it will hurt you painfully. Thousand times.The effects would be devastated.Some can't stand the pain so they decided to explore various ways attempting to ease the pain inside. Others would immediately beg for forgiveness coz they cannot find love the way you loved him.Especially when you are a christian.
No men/woman or material things in this world that can satisfy you the way he loved you.His irreplaceable.
Now, I want know your definition of love for God?

Oh no I do not mind in the least blink69nix0 I love talking about God in myLot and i have on a few other occasions! We are fortunate and I had not always thought so, I will shamefully admit that now. Yes our lives should be in focus for God, to worship and adore Him and let Him teach us how to love, otherwise we won't know how to love the people here either. I agree that when you get a true glimpse of God it is like you are hypnotized but that is hard to explain for others because they will not understand... 
My definition is similar to yours. Most recent I have felt this adoration take hold of me and I am not turning away. I am happy to be this close to Him and I have been seeking Him diligently for a year. Now I've been caught up by Him, for sure.

When people admitted themselves. They realized they are GOD's children coz when GOD loves us he reprimanded his child because he deeply loved us. He wants his children to be taking care of and it shows how GOD came into your life.
yes..but they will understand if they seek GOD and i know it is more than hypnotizing. Its unexplainable feeling..no words can describe about that supernatural, it's your whole being,soul, mind and heart experienced these strange reaction.
When you had strange reaction/feeling. They say its spiritual awakening.heheeh.. yes, we shouldn't turn our back on him especially we are in the end times. Sooner he'll return for the righteous one.just keep on believing..Our world are filled and full of deception and we as a follower GOD must pray so that our Angels and GOD keep us safe. If We are true believer of Jesus Christ we will suffer and our faith will be tested...
Just hold on, Our God who are in heaven is watching...

It giggles me when we talk about him especially without saying bad words or anything that could hurt anyone. We know our reality " Our reality is GOD" so we don't have to worry about, we just keep praising and glory him for our remaining days. We do not know the hour, day the he is coming but we already know and tested based of what we felt. GOD is coming and he is happy that we are talking about him than other things.
yes.. we had different experiences...you and i are very fortunate to feel it. Don't ignore those feeling we should embrace it fully.Let GOD be our light and be our everything we do coz he just there, he never leave us. Although there are times that we are alone but our GOD never leave us. Our family, friends,lovers and others left us but GOD who unconditionally, sinless never leave.

Very true and I am happy to hear all of this from you. We're told to encourage one another many times in the word of God, so keep on going with that Sister!
When any one genuinely seeks God they will find what we have found and more. There is no limit to what any one person will find in God and i believe it is a personal and different experience for everyone, in that same one Love that is from the Spirit of God.
Prayer is important for many things, from worship to our desires and needs, and yes our faith will always be tested but we can trust in the word and Mercy of our God who is the essence and being of Love.

when you have profound love for GOD. Seems like you love everyone. you love his people whatever their discrepancies in life. You can't even say bad things about them coz everything you see is GOD.
that's true, even though we never see him but for me his words of wisdom and his presence; how he showed his mercy,kindness and promises is more than enough for me to believe. He captured me and that I awe him everything.

I would like to thank you in return in helping me realize that I could love God more than ever. I have often times forget that He is always there when we need Him. I have often resorted to either friends or just plainly think of bad thoughts when I feel depressed. Your discussion is very enlightening. I know how to love God but, I guess I do not do as much. I couldn't wrote a message that can moved a person to changed. Your soul touched by these words of wisdom that's why you realized that we as a Human We can love to the fullest for GOD. its a good thing if we own GOD with our hearts,mind and soul.And you' will surely know the difference between supernatural love and ordinary love.

I think you show your love for God by trusting that what He has said is the truth and then acting obediently on that trust you have in Him.
If you trust God you will obey Him. John 14:15 "If you love Me, you'll keep My commandments."

Our love for God is something that we should always put into our mind and our heart.God gave us all of the things in this world.We should have faith in Him and should continuously believe in Him.We should always put God first in everything we do for He always wants us to be good and have the best things in life.The love we have for God must be pure and sacred.We should not just pray when we need something.

love for God can only be a sense.you can feel it in your heart and see in your eyes and your life.if you pray for the God and be close you will see...much more you remind me when I used to wash my hands and face and legs in a very cold days to pray for the God(I am Muslim) and I can feel the happiness inside me and how can I say that in words...I don't know if you understand but if you interested you should investigate about Muslim prayer

thank you for allowing your hands to write something about this topic. I am very happy that you've felt it too. With do respect your religion,although I'm open for learning but I can't turn my back coz My GOD is a zealous GOD. No GOD should be worship except him.
I don't want to write words that might give you something a harsh statement but this is my belief and I love how my GOD stated this in our Bible.
For me, he is the only way no other way.He is very faithful to his people and I am longing/looking forward to that. I hope it doesn't affect/offend you.

There is only one statement for that.
"We love, because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19
God is so gracious that He gives His only begotten son for us. He gives even we are unworthy. Then who are we, not to love God.
God let the rain pours not only to those who believes Him but to everyone. He let the sun shines to everyone even to those who does not believe in Him.
How can we not love God or hate Him when we are in trouble. We are nothing wihout Him.
It's really pity for us when we hate somebody so much, when God was able to embrace us though we sin always.

I am deeply touched and moved how you've felt for him. Although some people didn't experienced how Great is our GOD because they want some evidence.To prove that he is real. If they only knew He is our key to everything. He gave us life, body mind, gifts of freedom, knowledge understanding etc.this is one of our opportunity. He gave us air to breath so that we can still spread the good news so that each one of us must/should know that there is a GOD who is watching whatever we say.
Our Heart and soul should prevails. Everything we do GOD should be our center.I am working one of GOD words in the Holy Bible. GOD says: "If you love me sincerely with all your soul mind and heart follow my commandments". Every day there are a lot of certain instances that we are trap to temptation and lead us to commit sins.I am trying to work with these,although I am not perfect but I loved GOD so much.That's why I want to fight/avoid temptation so that i can live in a HOLY life while waiting for GOD returns.
I'm kept on fighting and kept on praising for GOD's glory...
