it has been a month since I have been suffering from this tooth ache. it was a tooth that I asked the dentist to be filled before because it had a big hole and amidst the filling it still is aching. i had sleepless nights and became dependent on pain relievers and the day decided that I can take it anymore. I went to a public dentist and had to wake up early to get in line. when the anesthesia was injected I did not feel any pain because I gladly took it just to remove the tooth. the procedure went well and maybe in a month I will have another tooth to be extracted again. those days when I did not brush my teeth are making me pay for it now

I have been thinking about filling the most inside tooth of mine in the lower part row of teeth. It has a big hole. It started to fall apart piece by piece this February. Now I don't dare to eat with my right side of the mouth, but the left side only. I often hear people say that filling the hole is painful. Now after reading the words between lines, I am not sure when I will go to the dentist for filling the hole because I hate the painful feeling.

hi there william! i think you should visit your dentist real soon. having a hole in the tooth is very difficult because food can get stuck there and can cause a lot of problems like bad breath and also maybe infection. please take care

Hi katrinapaz, I came across your discussion just now. I know by now you are doing okay and I am glad that had your tooth extracted.I have experienced that too. Yes,I agree with what you said that those days when we did not brush our teeth are making us pay for it now.

hi there jopipay! yes it is making me pay for all the laziness that I had done. If only I could turn back the time then I would have brushed at least 3 times a day. I hope that you wont experience what I have had. thank you and happy mylotting!

Omg I'm so sorry you have to bear the pain for long. Toothaches are way worse than headaches, I was told. Thank goodness I haven't had any tooth ache ever, we'll see in a few more years but so far so food for me and my mouth. I remember my husband sort of stalled going to the dentist to have his tooth fixed. The infection went up to his sinus and what we thought as sinus infections due to his nasal condition turns out to be coming from his teeth.

oh I did not know that tooth infections can spread up to my sinuses. thank you for that information raine. from now on I will make it a goal to clean and have my teeth taken care of, i dont want to have more problems especially that I would have sinusitis all year round

It is better to have a tooth extracted which is causing pain than suffering pain without getting it pulled out. I have a toothache now and I took some meds earlier, thinking of getting it extracted soon.

"For there was never yet philosopher that could endure the toothache patiently." Shakespeare
Nothing compares to a Toothache! Shakespeare knows this and
I wonder how you endure that long before you let your tooth extracted.
I am happy to know your alright now. Happy brushing from now on, hehehe.
Cheers!

whoa..thats awful..well its better to extracted your tooth rather than to have an infection on it..coz the more live on it that painful tooth..days by days it will be infected..but painful tooth thats not the best time to go to dentist because once its painful your tooth the anesthesia will not be effective...much better wait for 1-3 days when there is no pain then you go to the dentist..well goodluck at least your pain is no more..coz if you have painful tooth it seems all of your body is aching
