What happened to Charlie in the end of the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower?

I was thinking about it a lot. I still can't figure it out. What's the deal between Aunt Helen and him? Did she raped him when he was young?

Yeah, she did.. it was clearly stated in the book, although in the movie, not so much...a bit blurred and confusing.. You may get hints though.. and maybe that's what made him a bit mental.. 
But in the end, Patrcik and Sam cam back for a break and took him through the tunnel again and he felt better and had a realization.
