do you still remember her?? her name is famous in 2008 when she claim the service of Omni International hospital... she said she is very tired..since 2008, she will involve in law because of it.. she send email to her friend and claim that she didn`t get what she should get as patient of the Omni international hospital.. Unlucky, Omni international hospital bring the email to the court... and Prita ever live in jail... but now she is free.. The lesson from the hospital, for the patient and of course the law.. The law institutions must concern that not every case should be punished in trial..sometimes it can be solved with kinship way..I think the hospital too of course should follow the mediation way before bringing the case to the court... Share your opinion about the case of Prita Mulyasari?? maybe do you still remember the Movement Coin for Prita..

Yeah I still remember it. The company should learn it's wrong to bring the case like that directly to trial without any discussion with the person involved first, especially Prita being sued just because she wrote her dissatification with hospital's service, that hospital should take that critique and try to make its health service better not by suing Prita, even if the hospital feels Prita trying to ruin hospital's good name, that hospital should try to contact Prita first to make any clarification dan discussion with her not by suing her and bringing the case to the court. It just shows that hospital is too arrogant and trying to oppress small person (commoner) with power. The Coin Movement for Prita which can accumulated to be 1 billion rupiahs from a lot of people in Indonesia shows how many people symphatize with Prita. Everyone sees that Hospital in wrong side and Prita is the victim.

I still think that the case is unfair until now. Many hospitals in Indonesia are still undergoing similar kinds of practice, of treating patients incorrectly and refusing to take responsibility. I myself happened to experience it in the past, and it was a quite reputable doctor, though my family decided not to bring it to the court. It is just natural that one comments on how badly a service is. Else, the fact that the hospital also got caught in other cases apart from Prita's is an indirect proof that the hospital indeed is having a poor service. :(

of course.. YLKI and maybe about NGO have no power for giving protection to the patient when they have conflict with hospital

Yes. Somehow the hospital Prita had conflict with also suffered a blow though, as nowadays I think that most people already regard that hospital as incompetent. I guess that serves them right. Well, I feel happy for Prita that she's now released though, hopefully she'll be more careful next time, the way laws are conducted in our country :s

i think as citizens we have no strong position when against the bigger institutions.. it become the interesting subject when her claim or protest by email makes her involve in law case.. I think the case become the lesson not only for usual citizens..The court of course must consider from both of the side...Not only thingking the institutions of course, but think too from the citizens rights
