When I was in washroom few minutes ago, I was able to read the sticker posted in the cubicle door. It says "Save Water". It made me think if this things can actually make a difference in the minds of the readers. Can this really motivate them in doing such things to help save our planet? What are your thought about those environmental campaigns, signboards and stickers? Slogans like "Don't throw your garbage everywhere", "Let us save mother earth" and so on...do you think they do affects people's mind set? Or personally, does those messages affects you?

yes the signboards and all affect me and i want to save mother earth because I care. so what i mean to say is it will have some effect on the people who know how to care but to some it does not have any effect. They will read it now and the next thing they do it exploit the resources. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

You are absolutely right. It depends on the reader himself. Sad to say, some does not care even to read it.

It depends on the reader itself if sensitive or not to the issue. If you are a responsible person i guess all poster you will be affected , be moved and be awaken. Each are called to be responsible , we human being are duty bound to take care of our natural resources , it is so precious . All are called to do her share in preserving the God given gift. We are steward of it , lets give our utmost care so we can hand it down to the next generation.

Absolutely. Whatever we sow now, our children will be reaping it in the future. In addition the natural calamities that world is facing from time to time is an obvious result of how irresponsible we might have been towards Mother Earth.

I think that it can affect some people into thinking about saving our earth. There was a comercial on TV some years ago that I really loved. Then they stopped showing it to start it back up for a short time..It was a comercial of an elderly native american man looking at the litter on the ground and tears was running down his face.Very touching!

We will just hope that it will make a good effect on their thinking. And to those who are doing this for such cause will create a good impression to encourage others to do the same too.

I have a water saving shower fitting and a shower uses less water than a bath. I like to see save water slogans. I always put garbage in a bin outside or take the garbage home to my own bin. I do recycle some of my rubbish like tetra packs, plastic bottles and foil tins. I like to see the slogan Save Mother Nature. I eat a vegan diet and care about the Planet Earth.

That's great to hear. Only few are practicing this habit of saving our Mother Earth. Only few are aware and only very few wants to be aware about it. I commend you for practicing those things and helping save the world that we live in.

my eyes are automatically attracted to anything written around me so i'd likely notice those things and read them out of curiosity. with it comes to resources, i'm really sensitive to wasted clean water. if someone left the light on, i would surely be annoyed. if someone left the fan on, i would be scared because it might overheat and cause a fire. if someone left something on the stove, i would be scared as well. but when someone left the faucet on, it really makes me feels awful, like i lost something really valuable and can't take back. i know it's weird, but i think it's like wasting a gift because others don't have access to clean water at all or have to pay for them. we now collect rainwater in several drums and use it to water plants, wash the garage, flush the outside toilet, and to soak dirty clothes before putting them in the machine. when it comes to trash, i never litter in public places or public transportation. i always try to find a garbage bin or keep it in my bag to dispose at home. we also segregate them.

Cool! Good thing that someone like you is very cautious with regard to such things. It's a good practice to segregate your garbage and be very careful in disposing them in the proper way and in the proper place.
