Money is really indeed important to us. All people here on earth have desire and gratification needs. Even you, of course. We are here in this world isn't it? It is not just about the money. He desires to have a penthouse. Even me. My best friend ask me to go to Tagaytay, but I can't do it. Why? I have to save my money for my family. I don't want to use my money to go to Tagaytay because I have to save money for my family. We family problem you see. Same with your brother. He has desire and gratification needs that is why he needs money and he's asking your husband about it. People here on earth are attach in a material world. That is a reality bytes and I am being objective for what I see here in a real world. Now let us see. Maybe your husband has its own reason so we really can't judge him.

Well said! relationships are more important than money everyone must agree with it! But, to maintain relationships money plays very important role. I don't know exactly what is your opinion on the word money-minded. If your husband not give money to your brother, it does not meant that he is money-minded. There are several factors to decide that a person is money-minded or not!

HI nupur, I think money is important for all , Money is playing really a important role in our life, Money is not a currency or paper , in fact money is reward of hard work or can say that we convert our hard work in a reward as money and with the help of money we can exchange our hard work with other for buy stuff that one is hard work of others. Money is just a parameter of our hard work , So we have to treat money in good way. But greedy for money is not good.

Well, money are important in our society cause we need them to do everything! It's sad but money are necessary also to keep relationships. I mean, if I live with my partner but we both are without any job, how can we live? Economical autonomy is the basis for creating a new family.

I grew up with a mother that hoarded her money. I had one stinky pair of shoes all year long as long as I could squish my feet in them. I wore multiple sweaters because the coat wasn't warm enough or too small. I understand now as a mother to save for a home but I don't deprive my children. Some people live money more than their family and don't know how to healthily balance it out right. I respect money and would say no to my child if it was something they wanted and they didn't need it. It's different for each person.

I respect your care and affection for your brother but you also need to understand the exact reason why your husband is not ready to help your brother. Is he being a moneyminded person the only reason or he has something else in his mind. I personally feel relations are above money but your husband does not owes anything to your brother, and it may sound harsh but it just depends on person to person how he shall react in such situation. Personally money is what makes the world go around, and there are so many people out there that need to be more careful with the way they handle it. There are so many people out there that tend to just take everything for granted expecting things to always be there. They never think about the "What If's". Personally I think your husband is being good by being this way, and it will always benefit you more in the end.
