Is it the end or a new beginning?

Most people today probably feel that the world is in a mess, many think that something big is about to happen, and some are saying that we are approaching the end. But suppose the change that is coming is not the end at all, but rather a beginning! Has anyone considered that the world might be going though a clean up? Like with any big clean up,it would look difficult,in fact almost impossible, at the beginning and of course, it would take time to accomplish,to rid the world of all negativity that we have created. It is likely that things would have to get worse before they got better, but do you think that the final outcome might be good for everyone?

i have often wondered if the end of the world represented the end of government rather than society as a whole.
Hopefully the latter applies and a new age will emerge.
Maybe "the dawning of the age of Aquarius" will come true, and musicals will rule supreme, bring on the new world order leader, President Andrew Lloyd Webber!

I have listened to the nah sayers and those that counter their expectations. Now I only listen to the ones who stress new beginnings and changes fo the better. What ever happens I will have no control and am as ready as I will ever be for change.

Hi savypat, You are right, whatever will be will be, but it seems that change is coming faster than was expected even a few years ago. Scientists are saying now that the polar ice cap could be gone as early as 2015, that's only three years away. I'm not concerned for myself or the people of my generation but the young people may have a lot of adjustments to make. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

I have never believed that the world would be destroyed like most of the people think that there will come a time that the earth will vanished. I believe more in what you said. A major clean up will be done to get rid of everything negative or bad on earth. Yes, I do think that it would also take sometime to clean up the earth but I believe that there is nothing impossible with God. He promised a paradise on earth to good people and I believe that He would do that.

While Jesus was on earth he spoke about what to look for regarding the signs of the end. He said things on the earth would get very bad. There would an unusual amount of earthquakes in one place after another as well as other natural disasters. He said many would speak in his name but prove false by their works, & lastly he said you would see a separation of church & state which is something that we are already starting to see. Then finally he said that there would be a peace like feeling all over the world like man has never seen before but that this peace would not be a true lasting peace & that it in itself would be the beginning of the end. Not the end of the world because God's original purpose has never changed, people were meant to live on the earth forever on a paradise earth. So no it wouldn't be the end of the world but it will be the end of all the wicked & all the earthly governments now ruling the earth. That's when God's government will take over & will start to rule the earth. Unlike earthly governments though God's government will last forever & ever.
