E_ktp service ...sometimes it make dissapointed

Well, in terms of appearance and durability, I should say that E-KTP is better from my old KTP (my old one is just a piece of paer, now the KTP is a card), and for this, I am grateful about it. However, the time of issue took very long, mine was done for about 3 months if I am not mistaken, and I was promised that it would be done in just a few weeks. :s Furthermore, I have requested back then to change the religion stated as it was wrong ever since the first one was issued, but no change is made. I wonder why, and is there anything that could be done to change it? Comments are greatly appreciated :)

I can see how this will be a huge project there. Even to just data individual's name could be complicated (like your example there), as there is lack of standardize system of names there. There are so many varieties and ways of how a person's name is written there, not as simple as just first name + middle name + last/family name.

I already got my e-ktp but i have not yet check if there is any miss spell name I only complain about the time. They need a long time to finish it. However, the staff of my kelurahan is great

Hahahaha....I have received my e-ktp since few weeks ago and I dont remember if I already checked the data or not. So im checking it now, and yeah I found out that my name is followed with the academy title. (frowned) I dislike itttttt......because Im gonna graduate from university and changing the title soon. My brother is S2 student and when he graduated does he need changing the academy title on his name too? Yes, I agree with you the academy title shouldnt be put in the e-ktp because for students like me, the academy title might changing from time to time depend on the education level we are taking. Problem in ktp service and data is not a new thing but the problem why they never learn anything to minimize the mistake. Last year when I renew my ktp (before ektp introduced to us), I already wrote in the form that I dont have occupation and Im a student, but when the ktp is finished it is written as "karyawati"/employee. Glad that few months after that I was called for e-ktp and when the officer confirmed my occupation I glared at him and told him that Im a student. I joked at him, if he still write my occupation as employee I'd hunt him down. (I remember the ektp officer was outsourcing employee and handsome -- he is UGM graduated :p ) During the e-ktp process we are interviewed and asked for data confirmation, we need to pay attention on what they said to confirm it. Plus a little bit threat that I'd hunt you down if there is mistake in the e-ktp...that is work well. Hahaha
