I disagree with your brothers. My son is also very loving. He always hugs us and kisses us and never misses to say he loves us and thank you's. I guess we brought our children that way. Being affectionate is not being a gay. My son is 8 years old now. I guess our children have something in common so don't worry to much. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

You already know that this type of behavior makes YOU feel bad, so you need to tell your brother to knock it off. If your brother does not stop this nonsense, you better get really mean and nasty about it too because you have to defend your son.
At 7 years old he is way too young to be getting verbally abused from his own uncle. Keep your son away from him. Do NOT leave your son alone with him, I don't care if he IS your brother. Wake up.

Hello mar and welcome to myLot. Tell your brother to go to you know where. I would be very angry if any one classified any of my children as any thing. My younger son was always very affectionate at that age too. He is now a grown man and is not gay at all. He has been married and now has a girl friend. I have a grandson that is affectionate to me with lots of spontaneous hugs when we are together. He has a nice girlfriend so is not gay. When I was in high school for some reason a couple of girls that rode the same bus decided to call me fairy. May it was the color of a skirt that I wore .It was pink and green and in those days those colors were considered gay colors. I had to wear what I had.. Even though being gay is not something to be ashamed of. I hate to see kids teased no matter what it is about.

hi,
of course if my son act like that i will think he is a gay but not, because i have also a nephew who act like that,at the age of 2 years old my nephew is very soft in terms of emotional, but my sister told that he is still young so he could not know what is gay or the sign of being gay.

I am a mother also, I know what that feels when someone tell my son a gay. It hurts inside. Just tell your brother to stop saying those words to a young boy. It can affect his self esteem. And better ignore your brother he can experience this situation like you in the near future.

You should ask your brothers to stop calling your son gay because that would affect his social and emotional skills. Worse, he might start to wonder what gay really means and others, ended up as gays! It is just normal for kids to be more affectionate and they tend to shoe their feelings more compared to teens and adults.
