Do you have such habit? Open the hair while sleeping

I sleep with open hair. I want to be comfortable when I sleep, so I wear no accessories, even earrings or necklace. If your hair gets loose, just brush it. :)

Before I had all of my hair cut off last month, I would occasionally sleep with my hair up because of the fact that it was really long and it would make me hot to sleep with it down. However, since I cut it all off last month, I've slept with it down every night. I really do think that it is a lot more comfortable to sleep while your hair is down as opposed to tying your hair back before you go to sleep. I really wouldn't like it at all if I always slept with my hair tied back.

HI surekha, My hair is open at night when I sleep :) I never knot them in day also :) I never use an y clip or any stuff to knot my hair ... because I am a boy and I don't have long hair :D

REally? I didn't know that. I used to sleep with open hair. But these days,(maybe I have been doing this for almost two weeks now) I put my hair in bun when I sleep because I love to have nice tousled hair in the morning. I didn't know that we should tying ones hair when sleeping is good for the hair until I've read your post.

I also like to sleep with my hair loose. I even like it when my clothes I am sleeping in loose clothes as well. Feeling loose helps me to sleep well and in comfort. I like to take cold showers before going to bed too.

I guess it would be better if you left it down because then the hair would not have the pull leading to weak hair. I suppose if you use a scarve it would be better. Or hair pins. I usually wear mine up though because if I dont its all over the place when I wake up.

I like my hair loosely braided the best. I do not want to sleep on a lot of clips or hair ties. You do get more tangles with it loose but I think it is more restful to have it loose. It should not be up to your mother in law what you do because it is your head and your comfort.

Hi! I sleep with lose hair ...... Lol! My better half also unties her hair before she goes to sleep. She ties her hair with rubber band or some fancy clip, when she gets up in the morning.

Surekha This is lady's question, still i answer, kalyani sleeps with her 'juda' tied always, there might be some reason, my daughter in laws, daughter too, but my 18 years young granddaughter, who is engg student keeps her hair open, might be because of generation gap.... BHUWAN

I always sleep with my hair loosed surekha. That way, i can sleep soundly . I am also assured that my blood is freely flowing in my body because there is no obstruction.

I think for me who has a very straight hair is not advisable to tie my hair because it will just be curled.I spend a lot of money for its maintenance because my hair before was waivy. i just love a long straight hair andI will destrot my hair if I will tie it.
