I did get most of my stuff finished..some at the last moment....but pulled another rabbit out of the hat and made the deadline. We didn't have alot of traffic because the weather was so nice but still I had good sales. I made these little folder things with mini Hershey's in them and sold out friday, sat. and Sunday....each night I had to make more. Have you had a craft that was in such big demand you had to keep on going with them? I ended up with just a few left....but they are things I can use for Halloween!

I knew you could do it! Where there's a will, there's a way, haha! And good for you for selling out, wow! I bet that made you very happy and put a smile on your face.
The little Hersey things sound cute, wich you had a picture so we could see them.
When I did my crafts I sold them at a store where I had a booth, not at craft shows. I did very well and it was all miniature items.

That is great that you were able to have good sales despite the fact that the traffic wasn't as much as you would have liked to have seen. It really does sound funny to say that something was no thanks to the nice weather, but in this situation, that really is the truth.
When my mother and I used to do craft shows together, there were times that we had crafts that were so popular that we would actually be working on more inventory at the show between customers.

Our trailer park is having a garage sale next weekend I will be making some Christmas ornaments and jewelry so I can sell them. I figure whatever does not sell I can sell them online. I love making things and want to start my own online business in November. I have a busy 9 days ahead of me, but I am determined to get it done. In addition to making ornaments I am also working on my first quilt and doing my graduate work.

Congratulations for having that craft. being talented at that, you can go places. I'm for one has this passion of writing a poem and putting some melody on it. Maybe I can do it now as a career somehow. I hope that these talent of ours will bloom to more something better. Goodluck to all of us.

This is cool, and Glad everything was a success for you. I need to consider doing more Craft shows but due to everything going on, have not even considered doing any right now. I always need some cute quick ideas that would bring in some extra money for sure.

That's great, I don't usually do craft fairs this early in the year, but I should really get started now. I keep putting it off until November, which is not good.

Wow! That's great! Good for you! I remember back in the day when craft shows/boutiques were really common. I always intended to make enough stuff to do one, but with working full time and 2 kids I just didn't have the time to make enough to bother renting the booth! But I sure did love going to them!So many different things to see and ideas. Sounds like you have a "corner on the market" of folded hersey bars! I"d say..stick with it.. now that you know they are a seller..do them for every holiday you can get a booth for..you can even make up the folders all year long, and then just buy the bars when you need them...I am excited for you! That is cool!

You never cease to amaze me with your expertise and novel ideas for craft items. I could never in a million years think of something to make to put hershey bars in. Amazing. I am glad that you did so well that you had to make more each evening. What a morale booster. Well done. Do you have anymore craft fairs left for the year?

That is great that you managed to sort out making all those craft bits, as well as selling out of them.
Are you already getting set for your next craft stall, or are you trying to get a few christmas bits made for people.
I love to make crafts and it is great when you are able to manage to make the things that you can sell easily.Well done.
