I read an article that says apple cider vinegar can loose weight. I am wondering if anyone ever tried this, and does it shed some pounds? It states that 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar 30 minutes before each meal can make you loose that extra pounds. I am planning to start this week. Does anyone ever experience some effects while on this program?

Unfortunately I don't have a definite answer but I have tried it before. I couldn't stand drinking it mixed with water (I didn't try it mixed with honey) so I just downed a tablespoon and chased it with water before meals but I think it was too strong for my stomach. It made me eat less because I felt full from the water and was a little nauseated from the ACV but I only lasted about a week or so and then forgot about it.
I'd be willing to try it again and I was thinking of trying the pills instead. If you do use ACV, use Bragg's because it's organic, natural and raw. I hope it works out for you, ACV is supposed to be great for a lot of things so you won't be drinking it for nothing even if you happen to not lose any weight. Good luck :)

I have used it before but I can not exactly tell you if it shaved my weight because I am a slim person, yet I have noticed that I felt sleepy and my metabolism works very well with it.I
take instead some chilli peppers by the 7 or 6 pieces and drank it with water after each meal
I finish. I help me trim and I could felt my metabolism actually felt so great, that I like to sleep well and my appetite does not make me so hungry. I always perspire as if always working out in the gym or working with so much load of work.

I was told this from someone who is Greek, and stands by it. Says it will help curb ones appetite, and help keep people from getting heartburn, etc. Vinegar is also great for a lot of other things as well. If you can stand the Taste of it, you might consider trying it, and then come back and let us know how it is going.

I had used apple cider vinegar with honey but not for weight loss purpose but to help control my blood pressure and it worked. However, i can remember reading somewhere when i've searched for its benefits that it could also help weight loss. If you want to try just use the organic one.

I love apple cider vinegar, even though it is very strong. I've been drinking it on and off for months. I just bought a bottle 2 days ago from Trader Joe's. I have not had any weight loss on it because I have not tried to lose any weight using it, but I can tell you that it makes me not want to eat as much.
I do not drink it on an empty stomach, even though that is what most of the websites and articles on the Internet say to do, I drink it after I have eaten (about half hour to an hour afterwards). It makes me feel like I don't need to eat again so soon afterwards. I choose to drink the acv after I have eaten because there are so many reports about the acid in acv being bad for your stomach.
I really like the apple cider, honey and cinnamon drink...like a tea, with a couple of teaspoons of acv, and honey and cinnamon to taste. Good stuff. I crave it if I don't drink it.
Good luck, I think it will work for you. Apple cider pills have been around forever claiming to be weight loss tools, so this is not a new thing.
