What's the best movie in your opinion?

Ok, so I just wonder what movies you guys love. Think and tell me your favourite. I know that IMDb says it's Shawshank Redemption. But to be honest, I never liked that movie much. It was just ok. My favourite is "Big Fish", i guess. It always effects me in a different way whenever I watch it. Most of my friends say that it's a stupid weird movie. So what do you think about Big Fish? And what's your favourite movie?

Welcome to myLot! Sorry to disappoint you, but I've never watched Big Fish. Thus, I'm unable to comment on it. I have watched Shawshank Redemption though, I kind of like the movie. It tells us that, if you're determined, you can achieve anything with little to no resources. Every other silent and harmless looking fellow, is not that simple after all. I generally like suspense, thriller, crime, meaningful and movies with a twist. Thus, to choose one is difficult for me. I'll vote for both Crash and Shutter Island equally. Good day!

hi your asking for the best movies??? for me there are lots of best movies i watched like "The bucket list", Pursuit of happiness, Ratatoile, UPs movies, Anna and the King, Passion of the Christ","Forrest gump", "My girl" these are old movies but they are good movies and there are some lessons you can got from that movies..Its not that your only watching it but the content of the movies was very good and you learn some lessons too.Actually im movies fanatic so i watched lots of movies but these were the few movies that marked to me because they were the good ones...I never watch "THE BIG FISH"??? sorry my friend!!!

the movies that i loved is THE MATRIX... yeha in imdb its Shawshank redemption..is a pretty good movie..a very good surprise script..but not one of my fav.. Big fish ei? ur friend is right.. i think that movie si also similar to A FISH CALLED WANDA.. and few others..lol

Actually it's hard to say which is the best movie because there a lot of great movies out there. Perhaps, I'll just put it this way, the most recent best film for me is "3 idiots" a bollywood movie that's a motivational film that packs in superb comedy and drama. I guess, for me I prefer movies that will somehow impart me some moral lessons, nevertheless, I still watch movies once in a while for the sake of getting entertained like "the avengers".
