Like what happened yesterday should be remembered when Afghan people made Dhoni and his team drink water till the last ball of the match. He and his men had no answer to their bowling as well as their batting line up. They were equally matched to the Indian team in this T20 world cup tournament. It was almost close match and they would have won it easily if they had a little more experience from the batting side and from the fitness side too. However they were little sluggish on the field and they are going to show improvement just like what Bangladesh were like. They will evolve into a great team if they continue playing a lot of international tournaments like this or some league matches too.

India has always been a sluggish starter in big tournaments. So I am not really surprised at this show in their first match. Also given the format, India already are qualified for the next round along with England whom they face next. As far as Afghan is considered, they can hold their heads up and had it not been a few catches dropped when they were fielding, they could have even hoped to upset India!! Cheers! Ram

Yes I also agree that India is always a slugish starter in big tournaments. But India really need to win the match against England on Sunday to improve the confidence level. All the very best for team India .

Yes, Afghan was played well in the match against India. If they have performed a little more better then India would be in a big trouble. They were not too good with their fielind and they have missed out some sure catches. I too think that they can be another good team cricket team from Asia .

What should have been one sided Indian dominant game turned to be exciting. If Afghanistan had taken all the catches came their way they would have been chasing around 140 and it was get-able. India will have to work on the bowling to gain something from the tournament.

Hi bloodmask! You are right about afghanistan vs india match. they really fought hard to win the match but only reason due to which they lost the match is lack of experience in playing sharp spin. like they failed to judge yuvraj singh's spin otherwise they were good and need few more practice in catching and fielding. Well Played Afghanstan.
