When was the last time you stopped for awhile and took a moment to admire the sunrise? the sunset? the flowers blooming on the sidewalk? the trees swaying with the wind? the chirp of the birds on your windowsill? the dew on the grass in the morning? the smell of the air after the rain? We live in such a hectic world where Busy is an understatement and many are so preoccupied with their own lives that they forgot that life is supposed to be freedom and fun. :) No wonder so many people are stressed out. It's important for us to slow down a bit and take the time to appreciate more-- smell the roses, so to speak. This will go a long way in making us feel better about life and the way we live. The world is full of wonders, especially what nature has to offer. So I ask you: Have you smelled the roses lately? :)

Roses? We have no roses here, no sun, only lots of rain it's about 4 degrees! So no I did not smell any rose lately. The only thing I want and need badly is way more sleep and less cold. My health is going downwards every day :-(

It does not literally mean roses as in the actual flowers... :) I'm sure you can find something to appreciate wherever you are. It could be the littlest things like the sound of the rain :) Just find something, anything to appreciate and if you can do that and continue doing that, you'll find yourself feeling better and better. Our health is always related to the way we feel :)

What is your health problem, WakeUpKitty? I agree Melanie that finding something you like or love to do will make you feel better. I works on me and I am also ill.

Gazanias and cacti at the background - I took this picture yesterday, as it was a beautiful sunny day. Spring is here in my syde of the world.
I live in a big city but fortunatly I prefered to live away from the center and have a house with a garden. The garden was made by my own hands and I did not buy plants, but begged for cuttings, seeds and seedlings. I go out to talk to my plants every sunny day and many times I take pictures of them . They love it and show me their colours. Ill post here a picture I took yesterday of the flowers near my terrace.

Oh, I love that, you talking to your flowers. :) I once read an article about how plants can also perceive their surroundings and react accordingly. Your flowers are beautiful and I'm sure it is because of your love and excellent care. It is good that you have that to make you feel good. My regards to your flowers ;)

You are welcome :) I was just admiring the view of the tree in my backyard and the wind on my face and I suddenly felt so good. So I was just passing it on. Enjoy! :)
