Wrong Blood Group!

So we know that blood group AB is universal recipient and blood group O is universal donor. So AB can receive blood from any blood group and O can donate to any blood group. But what if some other blood group is infused in a person whose blood group is not suppose to accept such blood group? For instance, AB is infused in a person with blood group O, AB is infused in A or B, A is infused in B and vice versa. What happens then? What's the worse outcome in such a situation?

Well thank u for such an information. Yes i would like to tell u one thing that our body would not be able to accept the other blood group if infused. There will be a rigorous reactions in our body as the cells would be from different blood groups and thereby affecting our body in a negative way. It is always better that while donating and infusing blood inside someone's body, the doctor and the nurse should thoroughly check it to prevent any unavoidable circumstances.
What say?

hi mimo now days the nurses are super super careful that you in the hospital get only the blood that is compatible with your
blood. The nurses had to give me four blood transfusions in five days as I was there w ith bleeding diverticulitis.the two nurses came in with my blood type in their hand then one nurse A read off the type of blood they brought matching it to the the info they had on my blood type to the other nurse B.then she handed to nurse B who also read off all the information and ascertained that indeed I was getting type O that was my blood type.even in the middle of the
night they went through this double check. If I had got the wrong
type I would have been even sicker than I was already.

Knowing everything that you've explained here about blood transfusion, I am sure that you are also aware of how often organ transplant donors experience rejection syndrome after they have received a transplant.
What I am trying to say here is that individuals that have gone through transplants in their lives are tethered to medication for the rest of their life to make sure that their body does not reject the new organ. With a blood transfusion it would be very similar if the wrong type of blood is transfused into the body because the body would immediately recognize it as a foreign substance and the white blood cells would start to fight the cells of the transfused blood. This would result in the recipient getting very sick and possibly dying.

Hi friend, we must be very careful with health related issues and get the proper blood group for our needs, surely wrong blood groups will give some unwanted side effects, so only doctors always searching the same blood group

I studied this back in high school and if I am not mistaken it is related to the antigen antibody reaction. I believe that if wrong blood group is infused, the body will detect the antigen as a foreign substance and a threat, therefore resulting in the release of antibodies which will attack the blood cells. There are other factors as well, such as the rhesus group, but I don't remember it very well. Maybe others could explain better in that matter :)
