England down Pakistan in low-scoring warm-up tie

Reigning World Twenty20 championship England overcame a batting failure to bounce back and defeat Pakistan by 15 runs in warm-up match in Colombo on wednesday.
England shot out for 111 after electing to take first strike,hit back to restrict to 96-9 on a bowler-friendly pitch at the P Saral Oval.

Well thanks a ton for your discussion. Yes, although it was a low scoring match but it was a much needed victory for the England team in order to get acquainted with the sub continental pitch of Sri Lanka ahead of starting their campaign in the tournament. Besides a victory against a strong team like Pakistan will help the England team to start their campaign with confidence.
