Having a pet is like having a baby. It will definitely reduce stress. If you are single and you are thinking of ways to reduce stress, having a pet gives you that. It will also teach you how to be responsible.

I have heard that! This is a shame, but most of my stress issues are stemmed from financial issues. But,if you think about it almost everything is related to money,in one way or another.Sad,but true!
It says in the bible that wanting money is materialistic, yet in another place it talks about giving 10% for tithes.??????And the churches are always needing money for this and that. Now don't get me wrong I do not mind giving and helping the poor....but I am one of the poor.
I cannot get a pet because I can't afford one.In the house that I am sharing a young lady that lives here has a cat.She told me that this was the only place that she could find that would allow her cat to be there.
And,I have found that most places will not allow pets.It appears to me then that they want the world to be stressed out.

Yeah, pets are expensive. My son and his wife just got a dog and Lord knows why they can barely take care of themselves and their daughter. And it December they are going to have to move. Now first they are going to have to save up money to move then find a place that will accept a large sized dog.
My teenage daughter wants a dog and I said no way,not now.We are having a rough time just taking care of our selves. Then add a dog to the mix of trying just to keep up.

Your views are similar to that of mine. maintaining pets means --giving them quality food, medicines, care etc. all this involves heavy amount --say $100 per month. With this one person can have his food for a month. Pet keepers will have a different view.
Sometimes I use to envy the Alsatian dog sitting comfortably inside an AC car and travelling alone with a driver while thousands of people are struggling to get into crowded buses.

The scientists found that having a pet at home can reduce the stress and it is also helpful for your high blood pressure. Perhaps the pets make you happy. And you are responsible to take good care of them. So at first you shall take good care of yourselves.

I do believe that having a pet reduces stress. I've worked at nursing homes before and they've had animals that the residents enjoy. I think an animal can give unconditional love.

yeah sure. it is like having a baby. so much of responsibility. I have had many pets and time just passes with them. I play with my pets and when I see them when I am stressed out, The stress just disappears. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Yeah I agree. We do need to take care of them but we do release our stress when we cuddle our pets or have fun feeding them or even playing with them. I wonder which pet is the best to take care of and is not to stressful to care for?

I think it's depend on you.Having pets can reduce your stress or even can make you're stress. If you take care carefully and give your affection everyday, your pets will grow up and looks cute.It can reduce your stress. But if you're ignored and never give your attention, your pets will get sick and soon will be die.It will make you stress.I prefer to having fish and cats for my pets.
