A "poll type" discussion is any simple question which can be answered in only a few words. Questions like "What is your favourite ...?" or "Which do you prefer. X or Y?" and others of such nature are 'poll type' questions. MyLot is about DISCUSSIONS, not about 'questions and answers' and a good quality discussion is like a conversation. Once someone has told you whether they like ice cream or not or that they like Lady Gaga, there isn't a lot more that can usefully be said, so it's not a conversation. Unless you have read and understood what the Guidelines actually encourage us to do (and what to avoid doing), you are likely to have many discussions and responses deleted. It simply because you can't write about everything here. There are some guidelines that you need to follow . What was your discussion about? We might point out in which way your discussion violated the guidelines

If you don't want your started discussions, or your responses on other dicussions, to be deleted then you absolutely must be aware of the Guidelines. The link is in the first response. You must read them and be aware of them otherwise you risk wasting your own time (and that of others).

users from mylot get notifications sometimes.. so you really need to read all the guidelines and rules of mylot to avoid receiving them. it means that your question is a game type, like voting, which one is the best..and mylot doesn't allow that.

Discussions should be according to guidelines. It is worth reading them. If I am not mistaken poll type discussions are deleted as they do not instigate discussion per se. One simply answers yes or no for example. Take a look at other discussions such as today's top so as to get a better idea of the types of discussions which are acceptable.

Yes, myLot team can either approve or delete your discussions it's in their terms and conditions. If your discussion post did not meet their expectations/standards they can delete your question resulting to deduction of points earnings.
