Another strange sight today

On my way home from the vet I decided to go on the main streets because I didn't want to jostle Ping even though that meant more traffic.
So, when I got to the intersection of 2 major streets, and I was turning from one to the other. When I got up to the light, there was an ambulance in the center island area of the street I was turning off of.
I couldn't see around the ambulance so I got to see that they were talking to a guy sitting on the medium with a bicycle next to him.
The thing is that the ambulance isn't one of city's EMS service so I'm guessing they were at the intersection when whatever happened.
So, I don't know what happened, the guy on the ground didn't look injured, but bike didn't look damaged, but he may have been only grazed...
You see anything puzzling today?

I just heard something spark from downstairs. I checked on it ,but found nothing. I am thinking that maybe a rat was trying to chew on the wires again but there was no sign of it.

Sparks bad!
My guy friend "J" replaced one of our light switches because it was "popping".
I remember a rent house I lived in. During a BIG thunderstorm, pouring buckets from the sky, there was a BIG lightening flash and the power went out, but at the same time sparks came out of one of the plugs in the kitchen!
We called the fire department!

I hope that won't happen here. I checked on all the sockets from where i heard it and nothing looks unusual.

Aww, poor guy. He probably got bumped or something and like you said, a bit grazed from it but maybe not injured. Lets hope for the best.
The only thing puzzling me is this new SUV thats in my parking lot. It's parked really crooked, sort of sideways as to get out of the spot easier, or they pulled in fast. I've never seen this SUV here before (my window looks out into the parking lot) and can't recall anyone new moving in. It's not a huge apartment complex so it's easy to see people coming and going all the time.
I'm just wondering if its stolen. It's been sitting crooked like this right below my window for about 3 days so far. I'll keep my eye on it to see if it gets moved or not in a few days. If it stays this way, I might call the landlord and ask him. It would be a perfect spot to park a stolen car as its in the back of the building and cannot be seen from the street at all. We'll see.

Yes, me too but I want to make sure it's not someone who just moved in here because we had a couple of empty apartments. I will keep checking on this for a day or two and then call.
I just called them last week when some guy slammed right into the stop sign. Bet me he was on his cell phone and that's how it happened.

How old was he? It was unlikely that he pretend to fall from his bike to blackmail someone.Maybe he was knocked off his bike by someone who rided a bike.

Wow, I hope he was okay. He could have also exerted himself as another possibility. I've seen recently, not today, a person fall from exhaustion across the street from me and fell onto the sidewalk. Now, I only noticed it because I was putting the dog out and saw a person tending to the victim of what I'm guessing, heatstroke. The person looked to be around in their fifties and I've seen him on numerous occasions walking as a routine.
The police and volunteer ambulance appeared on the scene but they looked reluctant to go anywhere with them. I know from experience, the cost of the ambulance ride, even though volunteer, could be just as exhausting as the terrible event of passing out.

There's a look to those people with heatstroke, and I didn't think he looked like he had it, but I might be wrong. Still, he could've misjudged the day and done it, it wasn't has hot as it has been, he might not have taken the care he might on a hotter day. He didn't seem in great distress..

Once I got home this morning I did not go anywhere. I did not have opportunity to see anything strange. So you got my share of strange sightings.

I didnt do much today, so i didnt see anything good like that. Could it have been a transfer ambulance? Here its cheapier and if they were there when something happened they are obligated by law to stop (at least here thats the rules). Maybe, he was hit, or even had a condition that cause say him to fall.

Yes, it was a transfer ambulance, Maggiepie has been brought home in that company before. I'm sure they stopped because they saw something - and probably weren't transferring anyone, or at least nobody in any danger...
Like I said, I didn't see any blood or damage to his bike, but that doesn't mean he didn't have a problem, like getting knocked off his bike by someone's rear view mirror.

Oh.. That was really sad. Encountering such events is really stressful for me even though I am a nurse by profession. Seeing car accidents and injuries really saddens my heart because I know the pain they go through.. Ugh... Let's just pray for the safety and security of everyone everyday....
