I worked in a call center for seven years and yes that was depressing because I hated my job! I was so happy when the company went bankrupt. It taught me a lesson though. I will never stay on a job that I hate. It sucks your soul.

Yes I do. I've done quite a few different jobs in the past, and several have been in call centres. They're always over-crowded, which I hate, and you're usually under pressure from team leaders/managers to hit targets. I've always been glad to leave those jobs, and I'm never doing it again.

No, I feel very happy and free when at call center, they usually pressure people to hit target, and not only you have to do it, others also as well, so I felt the burden being share by all the people there. Moreover the people are friendly, I have work in call center since 2007, in and out sometimes due to personal problems.

My previous Call Centre made me feel depressed, low and after a year, I finally gave up. I cried most of the time, I can't sleep during the time and it seems like I do not have a normal and social life at all.
I realized that I love the pay, but I hate taking calls and working in a night shift. So I look for Call Centres that offer day shift and non voice accounts. I was jobless for four months but it is worth the long wait. I can now say that working in a Call Centre is very promising and very fun. I am not sure if it is my account or the culture of the company. Definitely not the pay as my salary is very on the average rate. =)
