why we harm ourselves for beautiful?wearing high heels?

as a man, i would like that whoever will be my wife, she must wear high heeled sandal. I just love it. It makes feet more sexy and I am just crazy about this.

I don't even get a chance to wear any footwear of my choice at work..I have to wear steel toed boots! We have to wear them for protection no matter what.. I don't mind wearing them from time to time..But i don't think my feel likes them very much especially wearing longer within a four inches heel or higher..It's okay to wear them for special occasion or to an event but not to wear everyday.. The only heels I would be comfortable for long periods of time is in a TOMS shoes or platform..Not only it is comfortable but you're helping another person in need..

I don't wear high heels. At work, we'll just leave our foot wear in the shoerock provided before going inside. We just wear slippers inside. LOL. I don't have to worry about wearing anything uncomfortable. I can even wear slippers going to work if I want to. They just don't care about what you wear. However, my colleagues enjoy wearing different foot wears. Some wear high heels, sandals and boots. I hope they feel comfortable wearing those. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Hello there. I think I also like buying and wearing some high heels. I love looking at them because I think they're too attractive and sexy to be worn by ladies. I love looking at the female celebrities in magazines and on TV wearing such wonderful and pretty high heels. I'm just wondering if their feet also hurt at times or if they are already used to using them. I think they're very cool and sexy to look at especially if they could even dance using this kind of footwear. I admire them for doing so. I still have some of my high heels at home. This time, I think I would stop using them first for my own safety. I don't want to be too tired while walking using them. I don't want my feet to get hurt again. The last time I wore a high heeled sandals, I slipped many times. I think I don't want that to happen again. I was also afraid to use the escalators that time because I might be out of control and I might fall down. It might cause me an accident. Last Monday, I slipped on the bathroom floor just wearing my slippers. So, I'm thinking that I should stop using high heels first for I might slip somewhere again. I couldn't afford to have any wound again. So, right now, I'm just using my flat doll shoes or flat sandals for me to be really safe. At least, I feel more comfortable and worry-free using them. Wearing high heels can always make a difference to any one. But too much use of it, I believe is detrimental to anyone who is using it. Body posture, gait and anatomical structure and balance is at stake in here. Consult a doctor if you already have complaints regarding the use of this shoes. Good luck. Thanks

I have the same case. I love high heels but there are things you have to consider. a. You have to choose the height that you can walk with comfortably. b. Check the quality of shoes that you are wearing.There are some heels that looks good but feels awful when used. c.You can wear very high heels but make sure you know how to walk with it properly d. Where are you going to use it? How long? Assess yourself e. Always bring flat shoes with you just in case you get tired walking with heels Honestly, I need to wear heels with my height and body frame. I choose to look great and I know there are sacrifices. I just invest on a good pair that is comfortable. IF you are not comfortable with stilettos, try wedges. You can experiment on 1 and a 1/2 inch then gradually increase for you to get used in using heels.

You are correct there girl,that high heels make you more sexier and desirable to look at,yet you are just making a big problem to your health.Do not make any sacrifices just to make appear great,because you could still wore higher shoe padding,but never high heels because the longer you use it could make your ankle ached you could be disabled in the process.It could also help develop other ailment like varicose veins appearing in your legs and your foot area veins could appear bigger.

nope, i am short and often wear flats. i am proud of who i am and don't care if i am not tall.

I'm short, I'm only 5'1 but I really hate high heels and they are really bad for a women's. Short periods of time they are great for you back of your legs but long periods and really high high heels over 4 inches are so bad for you. I never wear heels just flats. I prefer flats even though I'm short I can still feel tall with out having heels. It's about learning what clothes work well with your body to make it look taller then you really are.

I used to wear those high heeled shoes years ago since I am also petite barely reaching 5 feet in height. I used to be conscious of my height since my husband then was about 9 or 10 inches taller and he was better looking than me. As years went by, I started gaining that self confidence in spite of my lack of height and I have started wearing low heeled shoes which are definitely more comfortable and convenient. Nowadays, you won't catch me wearing a shoe that has more than a one inch heel. I prefer to go around wearing my flats, flip flops or rubber shoes. I have indeed gained a lot of advantages since I no longer have to suffer from all those aches and pains. You can be elegant and confident wearing wearing low heeled shoes as long as you know how to pair it with the right clothes and accessories.

I am not fond of wearing high heeled shoes. but since there's a dress code policy in our company, we are forced to wear one. but honestly, wearing high heels would also add up a plus points in a lady wearing it. whenever there are special occasions, i do wear it to make me look a little elegant.

Some high heels are really really beautiful. Although some of them are too high to wear, I will buy them as long as I like. But to be frank, wearing high heels sometimes is uncomfortable and hurts feet. My dear high heel designers, could you please make the shoes both beautiful and comfortable? haha.....

This reminds me of a movie where the girl said that high heels were a man's invention to make a woman's rear look smaller. LOL I do agree that wearing high heels can make a woman feel sexy and confident, at least, it does for me ;) But it does come with a price though--killer feet after a few hours. I love wearing heels but I usually pick those that are at least comfortable and that I can wear for longer hours without breaking a sweat. However, there are high heeled-shoes though that just wasn't meant for comfort but really are beautiful, so if I do have to wear those, I usually pack some nice flats with me to wear when I can have a break from wearing them in-between :)

If you are willing to sacrifice then there is no problem. As for my opinion, I wouldn't do anything that may harm myself even if it's for the beauty or elegance of me. I am short too but I cannot think of myself wearing high heels. Aside from it's uncomfortable for me, I am so heavy that my feet would hurt more. So, I always wear flat shoes.
