myLot has spoiled me perhaps beyond help.
I love myLot so much that I'm becoming spoiled with it and I don't wish to participate in other sites to generate income but only want to use myLot!! Everything else just is not the same and is just so boring. This is somewhat a delimma 
I don't know what I will do cause even though its a great place I don't generate enough here to pay for bills and things in a month. I might have to break this spoiling thing with some other sites if I can just. . . Pull away - wait! What is that discussion over there!!!

Oh I know I'm the same for awhile - I could get away when it was "quiet" now even if it isn't I'll find something to write on here... now I'm stuck.

I've been to other sites and well i have tried them too. but nothing is as consistent as mylot. so I figured that since mylot is the best for me and my kind of participation, i have always loved being just here and earn from this site. It is not mylot spoiling me.. but it is I that is spoiling mylot because i give it attention more than any other sites there is, and i visit mylot often more than my own email account or my facebook account. :D Haha this means i am giving my time here and not elsewhere so mylot is spoiled to me! :D

I'm the same just not been here as long as you! If my participation is noticed enough I am surely spoiling myLot. 
I guess it depends on that factor though - I am here waaaay too much. Or maybe not?

If you have become a soiled one in myLot,you are not the only one because I too have become one also.Do not be too dependent in the site because it could only generate a sideline income for us to enjoy.I am still happy with my income back home and I am very proud to have also earn my own way here in myLot.Just do whatever you believe is right for your being in here. I am just doing my thing of always responding to almost all discussions here.

I have understand your point of view,that you needed a much more solid earnings that is from your part time job,yet here in myLot even if it just pay little I was still enjoying my time as you also was enjoying.That is why making many discussions and responses here could make a little difference to our earnings made.I just not mind my points and earnings because I am enjoying the site more than ever and just wonder how I got my earnings.

Yeah I'm not dependant on the income and not worrying about it more than my time here. I'm just saying this kind of treatment here, having fun & being paid is rare, it spoils me a lot. I won't complain about it but i don't think i can make enough a month just on myLot alone, for what i need to.

I also forget when I'm having a good time about the earnings and the next day I wonder, "wow did I really do that well?" It is a good feeling when I consider that as well.1 person likes this

Why don't you try this and see what happens.
For your first hour or two in the morning, go to your other sites and do what you need to do. Don't come here or even take a peek. Then you will have the whole day to myLot or do whatever you'd like to do and feel better at the same time that you made some extra money to pay your bills.

It's very easy to get addicted to this site because "most" of the people are a lot of fun to talk to, plus quite a few have many things in common. That's why I mentioned maybe to "do your other sites first" of all and then come here and have some fun, sort of like a little reward for doing your "bill work", haha.
It'll be ok, you'll see.

Uh Oh, I failed already this morning
This is a good idea though cause sometimes if I am myLotting I can do a bit on some other sites then like I said I will get distracted again and not want to do them.
Its a good thing I am not completely dependant on this yet but it might be that I am soon, I need to get ahold of myself and get a nice routine!1 person likes this

Hi Echoforever, Im so in love with mylot and I stopped joining other discussion sites because I just want to spend my time here. I used to participate in other site and I've met the members there in real life but then I felt that I dont have the same fun as I have on mylot. The difference between mylot and other sites is not only the earning but the friendly atmosphere and the chance to meet members from various countries, it is really fun sharing experience and knowledges.
I always check my email to see notification when I received comment back on my response so I can go back to the discussion and try to further the discussion, at this point I dont really care about the earning anymore...me and some members have some fun, joking and chatting while discussing about a topic in the discussion. And without I realize it, Im $2 closer to my 3rd payout. One of my friends said he got $1.62 in a day by discussing and comment back while have fun in the discussion. I never got that much but I think everything is possible here.

Mylot is amazing isnt it? We have so much fun and we get paid for it. I dont have writing talent so writing site is not for me, in writing site we need to think a subject and write about it then we also need to put effort to get more readers and more views in order to get earning....that is double or triple work. Here is different, we can participate in any discussion or topic as long as we follow the guidelines, we can further the discussion and socialize with other members yet we get earning from our activity.
I always waiting for notification from mylot, but not notification about deletion response/discussion hehehe...getting notification from mylot and comment back with other members can kill my boredom. It is not different than chatting or Blackberry messages service (its quite popular here) but im not interested since I think mylot is much better than it.

I use separate email for my mylot notification so I dont have to worry to get a lot of emails from mylot. You can go to [B]Preferences[/B] on the top of mylot page, and then go to [B]Notification[/B] to edit your notification preference.
In my opinion it is easier to further a discussion by comment back forth than set a goal how many response I will make in a day (I did that before then I gave up)
I would love to join writing site, but the problem most of them are English writing site. I never took English course and Im not confident writing in English except on mylot. I havent check your banner and the site because Im now posting from cellphone. I will try the site later but I need to contact my friend who is an English teacher if she has time correcting my grammar, that is cool if we can use traffic exchange...less work to do :-)

That is a lot in one day that your friend got. I've never gotten more than I think $0.75 at the most in a day and that was amazing! But usually I only average lower but that is okay too with me because I enjoy it so much more than any other site.
I've never joined any other discussion site but only this one. I am on other writing sites for articles but I do not do those much now Woops! I woul dnot have time for any other "posting" site but that is not what myLot is cause we get paid for the discussion not just the initial post.

What a coincidence!I too feel like you.Believe me,I sometime curse the moment I joined Mylot.I didn't know how catchy this site is.Now the situation is that I can neither leave it nor continue with it.I have joined a couple of article writing sites besides Mylot and I want to write for them.But at the same time I want to reach the payout in Mylot quickly for which I have to invest more and more time to Mylot.And if I do so,I can't write articles for article writing sites.Tell me,what to do.But why am I asking you?You too are 'tortured' by Mylot.1 person likes this

I checked your profile.You mean,you were writing articles for Article gate.Before going through your comment I did not have any idea about it.I am vising the site and if I find it suitable for me,I will ask you about automatic traffic exchange.I have joined article writing sites recently.So I don't know whether it takes these sites a lot of time to pay the contributors.Still I agree with you that writing for Mylot is much easier than writing for these sites.

If you join articlegate then I mean that you can use traffic exchange to raise how much you will get on the 1st which probably won't be much this time. When you use the traffic exchange for that site it will increase your money.

I am not writing articles any more because I feel like they take way more effort than here! I may have a solution for you though, check out the first banner on my profile. It is an article site and the only one on the net that allows you to use a traffic exchange - even an AUTOMATIC traffic exchange, to get the hits and generate income for the site and yourself. If you don't know what that means just let me know and I will try to explain.
I still am not sure if I can get enough in myLot in a month for pay out. I am now over the limit from 2 months which is great since every cent I make right now will be given to me next 15th. . . but I am hoping I can reach at least the $10 each month after this. If I had 100 referral then I would look no future but its clear I cant really call what I am making a income . I do appreciate it and its going to help me in buying cosmetics online lol .
I do want to spread my wings and check out other sites and spend time on them too.

Likewise, I can make a pretty decent amount here daily and it is very constant for me and that is what is great about it. I would not consider it income but it is extra that I make that I would not any where else and this is the most constant and easy, fun, great. . . site that I have.

what you feel just mirrors what i feel too with mylot..just that lately ive been busy with work.. but other times i feel way. i just enjoy it here rather than on other sites.

You're not alone! I just signed up to one article writing site then I can't afford to leave mylot. I always find time writing here. LOL. I guess if I really want to earn money, I should go to the other tab. LOL. Why is myLot so enjoyable? Happy mylotting.

Even in real life we tend to go for what gives us joy getting tempted to neglect our duties. You seem to be in the midst of taking a major decision trying to maintain a balance between what gives you joy and what gives you sustenance. You need to see that you don't get addicted here. Ahh, this is truth. For now I'll be just fine as I am not completely dependant on my online earnings. If it would come down to that then I will need to find another way to fill in those holes. Its something that could come up sometime so I thought it best to think it through now. . .

Hi echo! Yeah! Why is it that this place is so addicting? I am working full time but I really made it a point to come always. I have to wake up very early in the morning in order to participate in myLot. I could say that I got a lot of benefits with my stay on this site. That is aside from the monetary value. Friends, knowledge, a place to share and a lot more.

There is much value in myLot and not even meaning just the money as you say, I agree! Its a trend amongst us myLotters to come here even if we sacrifice some things of our own.

Though we may not earn enough here to pay for our bills, it may cover those petty ones and that's the reality. You can enjoy as long as you want here and find some other income generating sites. I'm, for one, loving all the discussions here. It's really an adventure. Good luck on to your journey.

I do think of it like an adventure here too. I have many emotions here and enjoyments from discussions with people. I've had some good laughs or even felt bad for what people go through. We can be really attached here to the people we meet.

I am interested in it at present, however, I always change my mind in few minute if I think it is boring and meaningless. I give up many websites that are regarded as wonderful ones. I have the same dilema.I love it here but it does not generate enough income to pay the bills. I am a widow with a teenage daughter and need more income.But,I like it here.I wish they paid more.
I have left for a while and search for more income,but i always come back because I enjoy it and have made some great friends here also. But,I am afraid at some point that I am going to have to leave to earn more money because my child care position has stopped due to the child growing and going to school.

It is a place of friends and fun and we get paid for it this is something that is virtually unheard of in other income sites. I do have a few other sites that I am aware of but I just get so caught up here. Perhaps I could pass them along here if that is allowed, I do not know that for sure? Well if so, tell me how I can and I will give you a few tips of how to earn elsewhere.

I have addicted to this site too.
Not matter how busy my work or life is,I try to make some time here and read the sharings mylot provides.
This make me happy satisfy me.
But I don't mind this,for earning here is not my biggest purpose.

I don't know why people are so addicted to MyLot. For me it's not. It's just like any ordinary website. Maybe I'm not addicted here because there are too many restrictions. I like MyLot. I login here once in a while.
