We don't know the exact birthdays of the cats. We got the cats from family members or the cats just moved in and made themselves at home (after we fed and paid attention to the cats for awhile outside) My dad brought home two kittens from a car repair place and the vet gave them September 15th as their birthdays because the vet didn't know what day the kittens were born.

Hi youless, I haven't seen people here celebrate their pet's birthday yet. I had seen this in one Hongkong tv series before. All the dog and cat lovers love and treat their pets like their dear and close family members. All the friends' pets are invited to participate in the happy birthday celebration. all the pets are well dressed up with awesome and fantastic bright clothes
Happy posting

Youless, usually we only celebrated the first year birthday for our pet dog. On that day, we would invite some of our close friends for a small birthday party. From the second year onwards, we just celebrated it by buying nice and beautiful things for it to wear. Even buy special food for it to eat on that special day. I am not sure whether it knows that we celebrated its birthday or not. Unless, there is someone who can talk and understand dog language.

I believe that pets are family members, and I have loved all of my pets. I love animals, period.
That being said, I have never celebrated a pet's birthday, but now that you have put that idea in my head, the next time I get a pet, I probably will celebrate it's birthday

Pets become 'part' of the family and even some cases become substitute children! I have always had animals from a child, or pets, usually cats or dogs, by my partner had rabbits! In all honesty we have never celebrated their birthday, but we always treat them at Christmas and to us everyday is their birthday as I admit I do spoil them rotten because to me they are more than just pets, animals are better than humans for company.

Personally speaking, I've already treat my dog as one of my family members, so I celebrate his birthday every year. The forms of celebration are various. I usually offer him his favorite foods that day and he quite enjoy them. Sometimes I take him out of house so that he could run as he wishes. There's one thing in common: he feels quite happy on his birthdays.

Well I don't just used to do it. Even I don't used to celebrate mine birthday then why should I celebrates the pets day.
I feel each of the day is a celebration for my pet because I give my pet a good care and a lot of food she loves. This is only what I can do for her

I don't have a pet now but when I did my father and I had a birthday party for her. I got her a hat, a big rawhide bone and some doggie ice cream. I even tasted the ice cream myself (it was safe for humans too). I think she loved her present the rawhide bone because she ate it up right then and there. She worked on it for hours until she got the job done.

well pets are a member of the family and if you have kids in the house that I guess it is more wonderful to celebrate pet's birthday. I have never celebrated my pet's birthday though.lol Actually I did not know what was their date of birth as the dogs I had was always the local street dogs as pets. No kids also otherwise could have just took a date to celebrate it ..Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
