the big question for many madrid fans when Sergio Ramos sit in the bench (the games against Manchester city)..
Mourinho prefer choose the duet Raphael Varene and Pepe..
Segio Ramos isn`t injured..
so it makes question what`s wrong with Sergio Ramos?? is it part of Mourinho punishment for Ramos??
as notice, Sergio Ramos is the vice captain for Real Madrid..The captain is Iker Casillas..

Surely, everyone might wonder why Sergio Ramos did not play from the start when meeting with Manchester City in the inaugural match of the Champions League this season. Just like me, but after I read the news and media about this, apparently it is a decision Mourinho saw Ramos unprepared to play. Conclusion Mourinho might see performance against Sevilla. And there is no problem between them.

With the terrible La Liga season opening loses that Real Madrid had, there is surely a need to have changes in the team to remedy the situation. Dropping Ramos to the bench might have been just one of the steps.
Mourinho is the manager who is responsible for the team's success or failure. He knows the condition and the form of his players. He knows how his players perform in the training to decide if a certain player is fit to play in a coming match. Even though Ramos is the senior member of the team, every player has his low days. And that might have been the reason why Ramos was not played by Moulinho. Of course the dropping could also be due to the rumored breakdown of Ramos' relationship with Moulinho over comments Ramos made about the way how Real Madrid is managed.
Football is certainly not just about football. It is also a soap opera with different characters.

Yes, Mourinho plays his role very well. He is good in almost everything that a professional football manager does. What makes him standing out from the crowd is that he delivers. Almost anyone can act and play like a fool but winning trophies can never be done by just counting on luck alone. His four Championship trophies make him an exceptional football manager.

There were murmurs going on a rift between Mourinho and Ramos. But Mourinho has come out with a statement stating that he has no rift with Ramos. We will need to wait and watch how this pans out. After Casillas, Ramos is Mr. Real Madrid with the fans really liking him, so it would be interesting to see what happens next.
Cheers!

hello,
I also dont understand why sergio ramos was not played in that match. It was a very important match and I think Sergio Ramos is one of the key player of the team and he should have played. Whats going on in Mourinho's mind I dont get it. The team is going through a tough phase and they should really play their best players. They have made their worst ever start in the La Liga and they barely managed to win their first match versus Manchester city. Whats the game plan Mourinho is following is out of my reach.

I have read that there was some conflict inside the team and that was the reason Ramos didn't play. We cannot know for sure, but these things happen in every team. I am sure that it will be forgotten very quickly and Ramos will return to the first eleven, because he is the best defender in the squad of Real.

who knows the thinking behind Mourinho's decision im sure he had his reason maybe he rates pepe over Ramos or maybe behind close doors they have had an argument. I think that Mourinho is the best coach in the world so i trust that his decision in his head was the right one.

They could be the reason, I am sure that it was a tactical decision mane Ramos wasn't fully fit or even was performing bad in training

Sometimes, it is good to drop some players to let them know that they are not indispensable and to keep them on their toes. The bigger the game, the better. As you would have known, Real Madrid did not enjoy a good start to the season. Maybe Mourinho felt that it is time to whip some of the players and install the hunger and desire back into them. The first is Ramos, maybe Ronaldo next?
