I got a number 9 red star, what does it mean?

Hello mylotters, can anyone tell me the meaning of all the stars that some mylotters get, the ones that are shown beside their names and the number in it? I realize I just got a red star and a number 9 in it? Can anyone explain to me what this is about? I'm hoping it's a bonus. Thanks in advance.

It represents your 'reputation' as decided by other members who have rated your posts. 10 is the highest and 0 (or no star at all, provided you have already reached a User Rating of 100) is the lowest.

If you point the cursor at a star, you will see your actual rating as a percentage - 89/100 in your case.

Thanks owlwings. I've been trying to look for the explanation in mylot's webpage but I guess I have been busy writing than searching for the answer. The link you've given to me will direct me immediately to my answer and this helps me a lot. By the way, I like your avatar, the jumping owl is so cute. My rating's not bad huh, thank you so much mylotters, now I'm liking mylot more and more each day.

Every one who get more than 100 responses will have a reputation score,you doing a great job since you get 9 as soon as you reach 100 responses,I remember that time when I reached my 100 responses my reputation figure is only 3,and now I just get the figure 6,so from this point of view you really doing a great job in mylot,so please keep going,my friend.

I feel like 'flying' after I've read your post maybe because I got flying colours in my mylot report card *laugh*. Thank you skyandgrass, let's all of us mylotters continue with the great job here in mylot and support each other as much as possible. You're doing great too skyandgrass.
