Hi guyz!
As you have seen that England performance in Warm-up matches and their first match afghanistan. England team looks in good condition in batting and bowling both. I want your opinion guyz that can England be the expected winner of this world cup??? if not then which team do you expect to win??

I would not give too much of a weight-age to the performance against Afghanistan. Of course, England has started off well, but it was more or less two overs of 24 and 32 that took the game completely away from Afghanistan. Against tougher sides, it would be much more difficult to get such overs, so I would say that they still need to be evaluated against tough opponents.
Cheers!

Hell no... They are tough,, but not the toughest... They don't have the balance and the strength they had in 2010.. They surely miss KP and Collingwood too... Hales is good recently, Kieswetter is out of form, Luke Wright is not consistent, Morgan is pretty handful. Bowlers do a good job.. Swann is outstanding... but there are tougher teams than them...

Oh! Really they are looking really good and consitent with their performance. Yesterday both the English batsmen and bowlers done a tremendous job. They batted really well and put up a good total and won the match with great comfort. And Luke Wright was awarded as the man of the match .

Hey i second your thoughts completely. The England team looks well prepared and balanced and they are the mightiest teams in this tournament. Their performances were clearly indicated in the warm up matches and their first match which was played today. They will surely be a tough team to beat in this tournament. Apart from the England team, India, Pakistan and South Africa are the possible contenders.
What say?
