That sounds like a great idea and I would love to see you open one. I am starting to get into quilting and love it. I am taking a class that starts this Thursday and am looking forward to learning a lot. I want to make a quilt for my niece and my three nephews. I know this will take quite a bit of time, but I know I can do it.
I have been seriously looking into opening my own online craft store so I can make extra money. I love making Christmas ornaments and am also trying to think about what to make that I can sell all year round. I do know how to make soap and also have a candle making kit.

You are going to enjoy learning to quilt. It is such fun. And you have a beautiful practical blanket at the end of it.

HOws that quilt going Randy? You mentioned that awhile back that you were going to start. I am still quilting..completed several and give them to the ladies at the church. i am now working on one for each of my kids...grand kids first and if I get time..my two. Have you seen that Bargello style? Amazing! I am trying to learn how to do that, but so far...it is so complicated and I can't find a pattern for the style I want.
I have opened my own "store" before with things I have made..never had any luck. Oh, everyone always told me how great my stuff was and all..but did they buy? No. So I just stopped and haven't tried again. GOod luck to you both tho...Craftsy or Etsy is a craft place to sell...

Not a quilt shop but I opened my own Bridal Shop in 2002. I closed it in 2014, it wasn't fun anymore.
