Thursday night there was a murder of two people including one child only 3/4 mile away from here at the one small parking lot where several stores are. I have been to that Rite Aid there many times but never late at night. It is a scary thing to find out so close to your home but then there have been other instances where there has been guns involved but no one killed around here. Is your neighborhood very safe or has it turned into something worse the past few or so years. Getting owrse here no doubt. I saw a news truck still there on Friday morning.

My neighborhood is full of foreigners. My grandson left his bike out one night and got it stolen. It was there every day for months on end and yet this one day in particular it was stolen. Makes me feel weird because I think Whoever stole it had been watching us. Two women and a young boy.

Did they catch the woman and the young boy, celtic? I hope so, it is freaky to think someone has been watching you. I hope they were caught. My brother helped catch a bike theif from here a few years back, I think it meant something to him cause when he was a kid his bike was taken from him too and he never got it back.
Yes, be safe everyone. You just never know...Hatley I'm sorry your son had the front wheel on his bike stolen, how dumb of them, to leave the pliers there afterward too. Did they get fingerprints off of it and catch that one too? That is safe of him to keep the bike indoors now, poor guy. Thanks for the warning about Santa Ana! I will make a note of that if I ever set foot in CA, myself.

So far I consider that the place I live looks pretty safe, but that does not mean completely safe because no murder but just stealing stuff as usual. Yes definitely a scary place would look if there were casualties murder. Supposedly if there is an increase in security guard and oversee a place that does not happen that are not desirable.

That's scary. An hour away from where I live in Rochester, ny there is a shooting or stabbing there just about every day. And there been home invasions and fires as well. It's a horrible place to live. My town is safe there isn't anything like that, that happens here. Although there was a murder here at one point but nothing else. I feel safe where I live right now but whenever I go to rochester I will never go alone especially at night.

I can beelive it, in Rochester. I wish that would cal down for the people who live there. I would be on edge daily if that were to be my neighborhood. Home invasions and fires, it sounds like downtown here. I have been broken into here as well and they try to steal things in cars parked around as well.

That's so terrible, people really has become so evil that they can even kill a child in cold blood just like that. You hear things like these happening all the time but never to folks you knew or even in places near you. Even in the safest places that I thought for it to be, I would just be surprised that a crime or robbery has taken place just recently.
