Defend Your Offensive Remarks

Somebody on a site and I am not going to say who, or what site because if I did you could easily discover who it was said something so offensive about the United States yesterday. As a citizen of the US I don't appreciate being being lumped in with people who have done hateful things who happen to be American as well. Most Americans are not bad people and nearly all of us had nothing to do with some hateful film that was made recently, and has caused a lot of problems. This was an individual act not an act from our country. I tried to explain that to the person and he or she has yet to comment back on what I said. This is kind of offensive to me as she basically put down our entire country because of something that was done by possibly only one person or a very small group of people. Most Americans are loving caring people. We are always the first to come to aid other countries when they need help even though things are not so great for us anymore either, but the rest of the world doesn't talk about the good things America does, they only bash us for things like this that nearly everyone else in the country aside from a handful of people had nothing to do with. There are good and bad people in every country, don't judge our entire country and all of our people on the bad behavior of a few.

I agree but isn't that the same as blaming all muslims for the acts of a few. It goes both ways, of course I am not saying you do that, but that is also how muslims feel, the good honest muslims. This is prejudism, and nobody should be blaming a country because of the acts of a few people. But generally speaking humankind never learn and that is why there are wars, and people hating other people.

Yes, it is you are right, but then again there is an example of a few bad when the whole is mostly good. I really had to choose my words carefully there.

People will believe what they choose to, and spread lies and other prejudices and propaganda. They are allowed their own opinion, but it should be noted that strong opinions need strong support. I think people like to forget all the good things we do in America, because it is easier just to spout trash talk and generalizations.

Well, it's so ridiculous to me, that a movie (released in June by the way and not viewed much until aFter the murdering of four persons, including the u.s. ambasador to Libya) is deemed so outrageous and offensive, and the murders, and unmentionable abuses are overlooked?? I guess those don't offend?? - They have since found that this was not a spontaneous protest or even riot, because it was very well planned and they showed up with rpg's and missile launchers. Blaming it on the movie is just a cover up. Convenient, even tho released in June..

This really bothers me too. I haven't seen the film nor did I have anything to do with its creation. I am upset by the anger it has caused around the world. But, I had nothing to do with it. I don't like that people around the world were hurt or offended. I don't think anything ever justifies killing others though. If that makes me a bad person, then so be it! Killing another because of a stupid movie that most people will never even see is just disgusting if you ask me. It is far worse than making a movie! We should all understand that we have different cultures. If they want us to respect their culture, then they should also respect ours.

Yes, Exactly. People who think that overlook all the kind German people who risked their own lives hiding and protecting the Jews at that time. I would say that goes to show their were certainly exceptionally good Germans during that time.

when its time ,we certainly need to defend or else we might end up getting locked up for the petty issues and losing most of the savings and be a waste at the end of the day

I agree!!! Like saying Germans are Nazis. Sure there were German Nazis in WWII, but the war ended, Abd the German nazi party was defeated! People need to grow up and get over it. Also, your English is better than some people I know who were born and raised in the States!

Now it turns out that the movie had nothing to do with attack. It was just a terrorist attack.
