Recommendations on my first laptop purchase / myLot

Hi! Im planning on buying a laptop this november, it would by my 1st laptop. I'll use it for online jobs. Most on PTC, odesk, etc. I also visit facebook. Im not really a heavy user. My friends tell me to buy i3 laptops and above. Is it really worth it with how i'll use it? Or dual core laptops will do? Help please..

For me i am not really particular with the laptop's processor what's important is that it works with the things i am using in my system. Most importantly, i would consider a much high memory laptop with far good heavy bytes of memory in a way it can store more files and install more programs without making it crashy. Try also looking for reviews online be it article reviews or video reviews on such laptops. The more pro reviews the more chances that you might consider purchasing it. :D

Hi, So you want to have a headache by buying a laptop, go ahead. Try the new dual core Intel hybrid between a laptop and a netbook, the Acer Travel Mate dual core. They abound these days.
