When you're facing some hard times remember "A bend in the road is not the end of the road...unless you fail to make the turn." -Author unknown To me this means that when you are struggling with a problem, don't let that problem stop you. You have to carefully figure out how to resolve it and then proceed with caution. Do you have any sayings that help you get through times of trouble?

Oh, I like the for every one door closes another one opens quote. We must also realize that when the door closes, and the other open hopes,we must keep the faith that with the other one opens it's for bigger and better things!

You are right. We should not stop when there are problems and troubles that we encounter because for every trouble and problems that we face, there are solutions that can help us.Praying to God is one great thing that we can do because God can always guide us and will always be there for all of us.

Exactly, blinjk! At the times when we need to slow down is when we need to seek guidance from God to help us get through it. " Footprints In The Sand" is a very good reminder of this. When we think we only see one set of footprints in the sand when we're in times of trouble. It's not that God isn't with us, it's when God is carrying us through it.

Oh, I have lots, really. One is something to the effect of "We cannot choose what happens to us, only how we respond." I also have often said to myself "This too shall pass." A third idea that I find helpful is "In a hundred years will it matter?" It is very important to have a good sense of self talk to pull us through.

You are so very true, good sense of self talk can pull us through anything! Another one of my favorite sayings is "everything happens for a reason". We might not know the reason for it happening at first, but when we get through it, we know!

That is totally true! I'll have to remember that when I keep having bad luck, I'm strong and I've made it this far!

I usually remind myself that no where was it written upon a tablet of stone that 'Thou shalt have life Fair'.

Oh, I so agree with you on this one. Life isn't fair and we must accept that and move on and do the best that we can do!

I don't know if your are watching Sponge Bob Square Pants, but there's this character there named Patrick the starfish, who said that, "it will be better in the end. If it isn't better yet, then it's not yet the end." This is one of my favorite sayings whenever the going gets tough and I am on the verge of giving up.

No, I don't watch Sponge Bob Square Pants, but that character, Patrick is one smart starfish!! Reminds me of the saying, "it's not over until the fat lady sings."

very nice coat and I totally agree with this. There are many situations that I have thought of giving up something I've started because of lot of troubles but I've seen, if I don't give a and continue with my effort in that job, gradually I start getting success. So it is very important not to give up at troubled times.
