It's Raining!!

We finally got some more rain again last night. It hasn't been such a dry season like yours but it's always quite short on the rain in summer for us most years. I have had a problem with one of the neighbors here burning something for two days now, some firewood possibly. I had some problems breathing with the window open here so mom closed one of them for me and the smell was gone. It was terrible. Today she said she smelled it too so she closed the window right away. I didn't smell it yet as I was in the other room. The weather has been especially nice today though, very sunny and 70ish. I transplanted my 4 month old rose seedling and rearranged dad's irises so that they grow up against the house this year and not just scattered anywhere throughout the gardens like he has had here for over 40 years! I'm trying to redo the gardens here but it is alot of work to a point and my feet and legs were bothering me a great deal today but I got alot done.

we almost never get rain. i so miss the midwest. in florida it seemed it rained most of the time. i move back here and of course i knew it would hardly ever rain. thats why i love Ohio. it has rain some and some not. great seasons is what i miss it has been a tiny bit cooler here lately only 80s and 90s.

we still get around 100 during the day nights are real nice in low 70 open door weather air out the house!

We had about a week and a half without rain and we needed some but I think we got too little. Last year we had more then anyone could handle and this year a shortage!

Its not raining today but I think I heard rain last night.. However it was a very nice sunny day, around 70 degrees..so it was good weather today, but I tell you at night its like its winter already..no more AC for sure..I still have it in my bedroom window but it will be coming out soon..

good day sir! right now we are having a bad whether or should i call it stormy whether in our place right now, but in other places are doing some action to leave their place right now, because their houses are destroy because of that storm that happen in our place... but still we take courage no matter what happen to us.. because "nothing is impossible to God". right?. good day!..

We are having a cooler spell and it is wonderful. Still not enough rain. I can only hope for more next year and better spring and summer. Yes, it feels good to be able to have windows open and to not have to run air conditioning or heat. I hope it holds on like this for a long time. I need the utility savings.

It has cooled down here quite a bit. There was a rain that came through and it lasted for almost a week. After that...cool weather is upon us..lol. I have actually broke out the light jackets for the mornings.

That is great news! I know in the area where you live they had alot of forest fires! Here it is becoming fall! Cooler weather! It is jacket weather some days! Nicer sleeping weather,too! The leaves are starting to change color! Took out my air conditioner for the season and have not used any of my fans for a week! Glad summer is gone!

It poured here a couple of days ago. It's very pleasant out since the rain. The season is changing so it is slightly cooler. No more temps in the 90s. It's in the 70 and 80s now.

Since june? wow that's long time. The only nice weather for me is when rain comes, I like hot weather only when I dry my clothes Here in my city rain comes at least once in a week,, sometimes 2 or 3 times. We don't have special season like january-june will be hot/ dry and july-december will be rain. Rain comes after every couple of days, hot days. I hate to go out when it's sun is burning outside, but when rain comes I prefer to stay in my room and sleep whole day .

Its been very hot lately. Day and night. I wish it would rain more. When it rains its only like 5 mins. I actually enjoy bad weather for some reason. Im most happy when the rain is pounding down, thunder is rumbling and lightening strikes! Thats my happiness and i sleep so comfortably :)
