My sister in law asked me and myy sister to go to scrapbooking. Its every Thursday I believe. It's $50 and they give you all the things paper, and cut add ons. Its I believe a few months worth (which isnt bad). She keeps asking, and I know I dont do much for myself or go out honestly. So I was thinking of going, and getting some pictures of the brats printed cheap at Walmart and do up a cute book for each of them.

When I was younger, I did some scrapbooking myself. Most of them were a collections of my high school friends' photos. I think I made about 3 albums of it. They have not seen it yet and I am sure it is one good memorabilia that I can share on our 25th High school Reunion next year...that is if ever I can find it where my mom hid it...

That is actually really nicee, I hope you can find it to bring with you. It would be so nice to look over it, and remember the memories.

Definitely! It would surely be one long stroll over memory lane! I am sure they would all laugh at how we all looked- from the clothes like those of Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, to the hair stiffed with hair spray!

If it is something you would enjoy, it would be worth the price. I know that some people really enjoy scrapbooking. I've personally never managed to get myself to sit down and so much as take the scrapbook out of the plastic. It's one of those things that I "mean to" do... and have for the last several years.

I took it last week, it was pretty fun actually. But I think because I knew everyone in the class. I usually get bored when sitting there, but we are always doing something, and the time just flew by.

I know lots of people who do stuff like that, usually it is kind of a girl's night out. You would probably have fun. You would learn a lot about putting good pages together.

Scrapbooking is one thing that I want to do but haven't started yet. I think I should start printing out some photos of my kids and buy some scrapbooking materials soon. I've been complaining that my mornings are quite useless I guess I should start doing some things like this. In that case, could save and make beautiful memorabilia of my kids. Go do it and have fun while you are reminiscing every memories you have for each photo you stick on your scrap book.

Yes, you can buy so many different things for scrapbooking. I am picking out my pictures tonight for my album. I hope you get started, as its a good keepsake.

I thought it would be neat, print off some pictures of them. Make a little album out of them. I did it years ago, but thought I may try it just to get out of the house.

You should definitely get out of the house and do things for yourself. But, do you like scrapbooking? I mean, if so, then go for it. If not, save your $50 and find another activity you'll enjoy. I love to look at scrapbooks people have made, but I rarely have the patience to do such a task myself.

I'm not sure how many supplies that you would get for fifty dollars, but I do have to tell you that regardless of how many supplies it would get for you, I think that scrapbooking would be something that you would enjoy doing. I personally took up digital scrapbooking when my son was just a baby and I am just as hooked on it now as I was when Paul was a baby. This is something that I absolutely love doing. It is something that is for me, but it is also something that is for future generations to enjoy as well and that is the reason that I am so hooked on scrapbooking.

I bought a scrap book to make for our wedding, but have not gotten around to it yet. I think I will put one together for Randy for Christmas of all the things we have done together and give it to him for Christmas. He is so hard to shop for and this would be something I know he will cherish. I know that there is a lot of things to do with scrapbooking and you can buy some of the materials at Walmart and sometimes JoAnns or Michael's put these items on sale.
