Sometimes, many of us kept on thinking on how to earn extra income. Many of us search for passive income online but will only earn us a bit. Lately, me and my wife used to make crafts like crocheting and selling it to her mini-online shoppe. I do love making crafts like crocheting which really earn me a couple of dollars in few hours. Furthermore, while doing the products, I am really enjoying it and feels me fulfilled after finishing a project.
I realized that one way to earn extra income is by using your hobby or skills as well as interests.
how about your mylotters, do you use your skills or hobbies as source of extra income? Have a nice day!

You are right, you enjoy doing crafts or your hobbies at the same time you will earn from them. Furthermore, you will not get bored doing it since it is considered to be one of your passions.

I enjoy making earrings. They are mostly pretty simple beaded ones, but I have managed to sell some of them online.

That is also one best items to sell. Just have those beads. Enjoy in making combinations of them and you will end up different accessories that can be a source of income.

All of my hobbies are income earners :-). My grandmother always told me she never saw the point in a hobby that couldn't be used as a skill also-- I knit, crochet, do gourd art, quilt, spin, weave and can. The things I don't sell or give as gifts I trade with others for things I don't make or have that I want. I also do woodworking, inlay work and a bunch of other things, and I write for a living as well as for personal satisfaction. It's very rewarding to me to have fun doing something, like making a gourd wind chime or a quilt, then I not only get the reward of making it and selling it, someone else will enjoy it as well. Hobbies are actually the best job opportunities, as far as I am concerned. I even turned reading into a money maker, because I buy used books at yard sales or get them free on craigslist, read and enjoy them, and then sell them for what I paid or more.

Yes, just think what are your hobbies that you really like because it will make you not only earn extra income but will make you own something you don't have. Just like what you said, you can trade them in some items with others.
Just like what I did, many are enjoying the finished product and they might return and order another items which really feel enjoyment.

I always feel bad for people who have to work at a job they hate to pay their bills, and they don't have time to enjoy themselves or be with family. Those who have hobbies, especially creative hobbies, are sometimes afraid to try to make money with them. A friend of mine made beautiful doll clothes as a hobby, and she always thought it wouldn't be fun anymore if she did it for money. But when she got hurt and couldn't work anymore, she started making money with her doll clothes and she enjoys making them more than ever now. Sometimes something has to happen in someone's life before they decide to turn a hobby into a business, but I have never met anyone who regretted doing it.

Right. Like ours, we already tried different ways to earn money including planting veggies but all of them failed. Now, my wife got an idea that we could have baby stuff business like handmade booties and crocheted baby things, I agree with that since it will be ejnoyable and we are really focused in this income generating hobby.

I converted my interest in gardening and creativity into a business dealing in landscaped gardens. I gave this up after we shifted to a semi rural town. It was a grand experience.

It was one roof that your hobby can be used to build a business. I think having a business must also consider your hobby or likes. This will prevent you from losing interests in your business.

Definitely true! You would definitely excel in something if you really love doing it and it often leads to your success. Your online business is the perfect example coz you do not need to buy the crochet stuff from others just to be ale to sell them. But rather, since you have the skill in doing crochet, you are able to sell them.
In my situation, I love doing researches and it has landed me an online job as well.

You are right, teh price of raw materials are really low and after making fun of doing it, you will sell it which will earn you a lot. Just like what you said, instead of buying stuffs for my son like the mikey mouse hat, I just did it and it will really save me lots of money.

this is the first time I heard about earning while playing games online. If this is the case, that will be a great opportunity for online gamers outthere.

Yes people can earn money through play games online, but just as what I said,it must be a very good player, because in some famous online games some people do not have so much time to play then they will hire someone who good at that game very much to play for them so that employer can always keep in a high level in that game.

I use to do miniature crafts all the time. They were like miniature scenes..hard to explain. I rented a booth in a craft store and sold my items and did very well. Yes, it was extra income and I loved doing it. Sometimes I would stay up until 3-4 in the morning finishing my projects.
I haven't done that lately but did sell a few things on Ebay and was happy for that. Now you're making me want to do this again. It was fun and I did enjoy it.

That's a good idea, it's the same way I feel about myLot sometimes - I love writing and it's something I still want to improve on and with myLot I learn and earn.

I would loved to do the things I really want and earn an income doing it. Sometimes, I tell my wife that I would quit my current job, buy a piece of land and grow "bonsai" plants. Growing these plants is one of my favorite past time which I already had more than 30 pots in my little garden. Some of my friends says that I can make a lot of money from it adding that I do have a talent. Of course my wife is always hesitant to quit my job in replace to have a full time doing the hobby I learned to love. Maybe in 7 to 10 years from now, I would definitely retire my job to give this a shot.

I think your wife is correct, you hobby as bonsai grower can be a source of good income but this is not that stable as your job. I used to start making bonsai too, but with the busy schedule in my work, I won't manage to continue it.
